it was ight, literal spaghetti monster. needs a map, better AI and perhaps more dynamic uses for humans than "kill them or take them over". this game would've worked well with F.E.A.R.'s dialogue telling you how scary you are rather than terrified little people who stand there waiting to be eaten. at least in browser game worm reverse-horror they always run AWAY from the man-eating monster. the problem with combat can be summed up to "size beats all, including screen space." you can't really pay attention to your health when you're a goliath heading into battle spamming the right & left mouse buttons with tentacles flying everywhere. there's so many things happening at once it feels less like the advertised "you are the monster" and more like you are a flailing idiot slapping even stupider mortals to death. i think the dehumanisation of everyone you kill is one of the things that makes me not like my playthrough. i'm more thrilled doing the same killing, hide loop for three hours in any other stealth title imaginable than this. the civillians, troops and mechs have zero personality. also, having to balance being blasted to high heaven with how the dysmorphia my flesh creature is feeling bars it from going invisible is something that somehow sounded great on paper to somebody... i'm glad we have this kind of game but it certainly isn't either a failure at the reverse-horror genre nor is it something that is entirely brilliant. it's a step in the right direction for sure. nobody's playing this after their first play-through the same way you might replay F.E.A.R., Trepang2 or Dead Cells. it almost feels as polished yet empty feeling as SCP:5K is right now. i hope this title isn't forgotten, not because the campaign is super worth remembering, but because the potential for reverse-horror is still untapped. if any game can show that, it's Carrion. if the aim was to really feel like you are a confused monster, breaking everyone and everything that attempts to contain him, they hit the mark. reverse-horror? maybe not. reverse-natural-disaster? absolutely. the ending was great too, even if predictable. i won't spoil it though. buy it or don't, your choice. it's an easy game to get all achievements for, if that's what you want.

it's a zombie game, roguelite with quite an entertaining balance between your health and infection bar. i've 100%ed this game so of course i'd recommend it. there are bugs, there are glitches and invisible zombies (if you encounter them just exit to menu and press continue to reload the area). despite that, the gameplay itself is solid and worth a try considering its price. maybe even get it on sale after wishlisting, who knows. we should celebrate the fact that the people behind TLS, TLS2 & TLS:UC were able to level up from browser games and put their mark on gaming, despite how little faith we have in the industry these days. i do wish that the art style was a little more interesting to watch, after 80 hours of gameplay it has become bland and actually sometimes hard to see zombies. unlike the originals you can only kill one human enemy and he doesn't have a gun either. i will say that even though it took so long to beat, it rarely felt imbalanced and i almost wish there were even more content for end game guns which ended up being stale. i wish there was more characters of the previous games in this instalment but i appreciate not going for the easy nostalgia bait. overall a 3/5.

a classic collection of games with achievements you can pursue despite flash games being discontinued. this is a treasure of an experience everyone should try at least once to understand why so many believe The Last Stand series to be so beloved. i'm so glad that we can play these on our own terms as much as the companies that fostered this era of browser gaming don't want you to.

For now, I can't recommend it. Just get STALKER GAMMA if you want this experience but better. Less aimless walking around, more variety in mutants, factions, gun customisation and guns in general. The graphics in GAMMA are far better too, with an engine decades older than this. The biggest drawback of Fargone is its insistence in walking a hundred years to the next objective, and its lack of interesting areas. If you want something closer to a looter shooter with specifically zombies, get Minecraft and then Curseforge and download the DeceasedCraft modpack, it's far more intuitive and entertaining than this. What annoys me the most is that shotguns take 3 shots to kill a person up close compared to a pistol being able to headshot them in 1. It's all the most annoying aspects of a survivor looter shooter turned up to 11, play something else instead.

If you're looking to enjoy different boxing styles, don't look here. The aim for this game is generally to wait and counter punch, particularly with a hook (SPACE) while pressing S and body blocking with shift right-click. As long as you have decent speed and strength, you'll take down a lot of the AI. Rather than customisation of characters, you collect boxers as if an owner of a gym that has to pay rent. They come to you as if random ass Greg and you can pick whoever to raise into Tyson. Though the end-game strat is to wait for recruits that cost 0 coins, add them to your team, and throw them against the most powerful AI. While they'll lose, they'll earn more money fighting while your main fighters train their strength and speed etc. that with 5 of them being thrown at Champs, you'll be making dosh off slave labour. Good boxing game :)

for 1.60 odd i can get a more entertaining and thorough experience than a lot of other indie roguelites on the market. it's totally worth at least dipping your toes in, as even a kid who saves up pennies can afford it. if you can't afford it, who even are you? how did you get steam if you're homeless?? go busk a bit more to get this game.

will say, it's a bit hard to understand the use of speaking in the game but you get used to the different widgets and what they do with enough playing. although, there are still sentences i've read that i still don't understand and that's caused me not to be able to unlock every class there is, but it's still worth it.

now go buy it. you are welcome.
