Just like Resident Evil: Resistance, this game should actually be pretty fun. You get to play as all your favourite Resident Evil characters, and you even get to play as the monsters! Cool, right? Well, RE:Verse is basically unplayable in its current state. Between the massive amounts of lag, the hackers and the dodgy hit boxes, you're probably not gonna have a lot of fun with this. If they manage to fix the hackers and lag issues I'll happily try playing again because the few games that actually worked were really fun. But until then, RE:Verse can suck my nuts

Alright let me start off by saying this game is definitely one I'd recommend giving a shot. It's incredibly powerful, and made me feel like a terrible human being on more than one occassion.

Anyway, my "This War of Mine" story starts off like this:
My three survivors, Pavle, Bruno and Katia, lived together in a bombed shell of a building, but they were happy. Well, as happy as they could be under the circumstances. We had enough food and enough resources to get us by. By Day 7, we had a knock at the door. I had thought it was a trader, like the first few days, but I was wrong. It was a school teacher by the name Cveta, who was asking for a place to stay. She didn't offer much to the group, but I took her in regardless of the fact that our supplies were running low. I couldn't bring myself to say no.

That night, I decided to send Cveta out to see if taking her in wasn't a complete waste. I sent her to a small apartment block to scavenge some supplies. Needless to say, she did quite well. The only issue was that she stole it. My group, and myself, felt quite bad. It wasn't anything to be worried about, but it was a bit of a blow to the groups morale.

The next night, I sent Pavle out to the same apartment block to see if we could scavenge some supplies without robbing the people. As I was traversing the building, one of the residents saw me and went to alert their friend, who was armed with a fully loaded shotgun. I ran downstairs and hid in a dark corridor. By some miracle, he knew where I was and aimed his gun at me. I acted on impulse and clicked, and took him down with one knife stab to the chest. Followed by two more. In my eyes, it was an instant kill. But for Pavle, it was the longest moment ever. I didn't want to kill this man, but it was him or me. Suddenly, his friends (or family, I couldn't know for sure) ran downstairs and tried to attack me, but they were unarmed. Pavle slashed at one of them, cutting the arm. They then began to beg for mercy and cry as they stood around their friend's corpse. I took everything I could find and ran home.
Pavle, and I, for that matter, felt terrible. I actually had to turn the game off for the night and went back to it the next day.

I managed to survive 37 days on my first run without losing any survivors. But Katia died on a scavenging run on the 37th night, and I felt so attacthed to this characters and everything they'd been through, I deleted the save and had to start again.

I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who is or has been a fan of psychological horror games.
Lone Survivor has a very Silent Hill feel to it, and quickly allows the player to become immersed in it's interesting story line. Although the pacing can be a little slow at times when you're trying to discover what to do next, the game offers interesting puzzles and combat that requires you to be tactical, in a sense.

The music for the game is incredibly catchy, but also quite dark, and goes perfectly with the game's dark theme and humour.
Despite being only 8-bit, this game could be considered better than some big-budget that currently exist.

I'd recommend this game to anyone who is in the mood for a retro psychological horror, or loves games that carry dark-underlying themes and immersive storylines.

This game is easily one of the most addicting I've ever played. Despite some of the major, teeth-grinding glitches, it is very fun. The game description is essentially what it says; it's a zombie apocalypse simulator. If you loot a house, it's gonna stay empty. If you die with loads of loot at your safehouse, it's going to stay there until your new guy can find it again.
The game also adds a great challenge to its survival aspect. It's not like traditional zombie games like Dead Rising where you can kill 500 zombies within five minutes. I get nervous when I'm up against more than two. You know how in the movies when a character is bitten, and then they turn? That's exactly what happens in Project Zomboid. One bite is all it takes for you to lose the character you've spent the last couple of hours leveling up.
Despite the many, many bugs in this game, it's a great idea and it provides endless hours of fun, scavenging and zombie-slaying!
