TROOP LIMIT PROBLEM (fixed for singleplayer)


So, first of all I love every stronghold game in general but why the hell is the troop limit so damn low??? In a 1vs1 game i can only have 200 units; 67 if i wanna play 1vs7.

One of the main aspects in Stronghold are the Sieges. What is the point of that when you basically cant build a proper army? In that case it makes zero fun to me even if all the other game mechanics were perfect...

At the moment i cant recommend this game to everyone who loves big battles :(
Maybe I will change my mind in the future if the developers takes this to note and does something about this problem

What are your thoughts about it?


update: I got help in the forum, there is a way to increase the troop limit!(you can read the info in the manual)
Sadly it seems that it only counts for singleplayer... but now I would rather recommend the game because I think most of the playership is satisfied with the singleplayer alone.

Building and Troop Limits
STRONGHOLD: WARLORDS has been designed with specific troop
and building limits in single player for gameplay and performance
reasons. However we appreciate some people may wish to try playing
the game with higher limits. To change these limits:
1. Browse to the location of your \Documents\Stronghold Warlords\
Profiles folder.
2. Using a text editor (we recommend Notepad++) open the
options.xml file.
3. On line 4 change the values for single_player_building_limit
and single_player_troop_limit (make sure you retain the exact
formatting used in the file).
4. Save the file.
PLEASE NOTE: These values only affect single player games not
multiplayer games. Changing these values beyond the default
limits may adversely affect game performance (depending on your
computer).

Sehr gutes MMORPG, das sehr ähnlich wie Diablo3 oder Sacred2 ist.
Wem die 2 oben genannten Spiele gefallen, wird dieses Spiel lieben!
