OG review was harshly worded, so rephrasing to not be as mean to dev. The game is effectively in a pre-alpha-beta state. Core gameplay loop is fine, if not fun, but various aspects of the game are incomplete or unfinished. There are a cacophony of bugs that make it incredibly difficult to play. First saves are automatic, with no way to edit them, which is fine, but loading a save breaks some buildings, most importantly turrets, permanently. there is no way to recover the money you spent on them, which is fine, considering how easy money is to get in late game, but replacing most of your most important buildings is a hassle. Second, "tamed" hamsters are invisible. this includes slaves, plunger turret hamsters, hamsters placed in slave storage, and hamsters placed in machines. Third, night time is awful for one specific reason, the torch. While entertaining for the first 5 seconds tops, it covers the vast majority of the left side of your screen, and given how they make no noise its difficult to track them down before they annihilate your building. Fourth some buildings just eat hamsters, turrets can take an unlimited amount of hamsters, for no reason. they just disappear and since placing your turrets closest to your buildings is optimal because they target hamsters closest to themselves (I think?) its easy to mis-click and just lose them. Sometimes money makers can take more hamsters, without giving money. To clarify, the core gameplay is fine, extremely barebones but fine, and I think the parody on horror games works well as a theme, but even the ending scene the black box covering the screen wasn't placed high enough so I could see the scene loading in, not to mention the blankets were not textured on the sides so there was a ton of obviously dead space. Needs a ton of work, but the remake is coming so not all hope is lost. not recommended at all atm but will definitely update post-remake.

in active development, but its got good bones already. Bunkers are terrifying though, replaces any fun with fear instantly

First time i booted up a new game everyone was TPosing and everything but movement was broken, after i reset and started a new game fixed the problem, this game is HARD compared to what ive been playing but its stupid fun, feels like DL1 in the modern era, and im super here for it.

maybe it's nostalga, but i think these games hold up really well, while 1917 is my favorite, 1942 and battle of the bulge are really good games. And all for less than the price of a small pizza? so worth it IMO.

Just let me buy the supporter edition,I want to be able to unlock all cosmetics. It seems gas physics are broken ATM as well and there are a lot of bugs. but the game is very playable. its a very grounded shooter and S ranking missions is hard but not impossible, after each death there's always something to be learned.

Early Access Review
game is in early access, and the only thing I can say is everything feels bad. Guns don't feel good to use, melee is clunky, zombies can be difficult to stun at times, and for a new player, games feel impossibly long. Nothing is properly explained, which can be a good thing, but can at times be a miss on this one. My primary complaint however, above everything else this game has going for it, is re spawns. There are no safe areas, there is no one building you cleared and can come back to, there is place safe to sit and heal up, re spawns would be fine if they weren't every single time I turned my back to an area. I like the constant pressure, don't get me wrong. and there are some moments where zombie spawns genuinely made my experience better, like them falling off of a roof (that was the only example and that was because it was novel). I desperately want to like this game and I will definitely continue playing but at this time, the core game play feels bad. not a bug issue, not a balance issue, just sloppy. and from the studio that made chivalry, I'm deeply disappointed. I'd love to change my review in the future, but the game is just unenjoyable in its current state. Removing (or heavily reworking) re spawns is a good first step, but melee needs a complete rework.

that 41% all time 91% recent speaks volumes. They fixed it, initally it was fun but inherently flawed and broke the game in many ways. Now it's just more fun, the new characters feel fresh and powerful, the maps are well designed, and the final boss is brutal but winnable. By far my favorite DLC (although partially because I am partial to the false son)

Zombies, trains, robot dogs, and a decent amount of progression. What more could you ask for?

took me about 2 hours to beat, honestly so worth the 3$, I found it and bought it on a whim and it's a really fun game, addictive as all heck. My only complaint is I wish there was more to do, and maybe some ways to better track all the buildings and productions, but that's the factorio lover in me speaking I think. Awesome game, simple, fun, fantastic. Definitley worth it.
