The Indifference? nah the Great Despair™.

uninstalled this glorious game because of this piece of *insert word here* company. their disgusting reasoning behind their disgusting policies is showing of how trash they treat their paying players. i bought world, rise, re5, re6, re8, re4 remake, re2 remake, re7 gold edition, DLC's for many of them. and then they have the gall to tell me im not allowed to do with MY property as i please.
for those who want to buy this. don't.
enigma is an anti tamper application added to these games that can go through your files and will. it doesn't even stop mods which is the freaking hilarious part. (ALSO ENIGMA HAS PROVEN TO STOP GAMES FROM BEING PLAYED ON STEAM DECK. presumably because it doesn't like linux.)

one of my only good reviews. honestly the game gets better with every update. i got gifted this by a friend (thank you i owe you again) and man they didnt waste a single dollar. i can tell im gonna pop another 400 hours into this.

the devs said it best in their own end of the year message for 2022. they have a 13% success rate on any single match succeeding on any given run. meaning your going to waste 87 attempts out of 100 due to any number of reasons. a less than 50% success rate of the TUTORIAL LEVEL. of which the devs are proud of.

in the comment section to this game on the 2022 end of the year post you can find one dev stating they are happy that the rate is so low because no other game lets you do that.

the matchmaking is basically non existent. the alternative that the devs give is to join their discord (an off platform application so they can moderate without discretion). which users have posted being banned from (no reasons given so take that with a grain of salt).

lastly here we go about game play. its very fun. so fun in fact that this is one of the two reasons why people will back this game up so much. slowly crawling your way through hordes of enemies and hacking your way at a problem with precision and timing with 3 others. this makes you feel like a real specialist who is doing something that really no one else can.
now that's the thing. almost no one actually can. because the in game runs are so long that you or anyone else on your team WILL mess up. and the ensuing gun fight will take most of your health and resources because you were caught out of position. leaving you under prepared and unable to continue on with the rest of your mission. one of the main contributing factors on why over 80 PERCENT of player runs fail.

lastly i give you one last piece of evidence on why or why not to buy this game. GTFO won on December 22nd 2022 the steam award for "BEST GAME YOU SUCK AT". even players who love this game and say that there isnt anything wrong with it had to come out and vote for this. because they know in their hearts that this game is so hard, that even those few who know the intricate ins and outs of this game still truly suck at it.

now then if you still wanna buy it because you love the challenge then please go ahead. as i said before the game itself is truly fun. hence why i put almost 40 (and soon to be over 40) hours into it.

playing this game is fun but whats not fun is getting you're butt rammed over and over because your helper drone AI doesn't know what to do when your down on solo missions or just doesn't revive you for 40 seconds. causing up links to fail over and over because it wont revive you in time. and who ever thought that failing the up link once on that mission should make you FAIL ENTIRELY should be fired. Jesus Christ losing an hour of game play because of stupid mechanics is the most gut wrenching aggravating stuff I've ever experienced. i would understand more for this game if i was just bad. or just not understanding how things work. however that isnt the case here. you are told to stand virtually still in an area dominated by enemy bugs. and then told that if you leave OR GET DOWNED you fail the whole mission. absolutely disgusting. *update: its 2022 and 30 minuts till 2023 yet the *fixed* geometry for pumpjacks still allow you to get stuck and lose all progress due to having to restart. just. give us. an unstuck command.

game sucks. played it with friend. had to grind for literally 6 hours using an exploit to get my friend from half to max survivor level. theres 3 different leveling bars btw. only replaying cause my friend bought it when i did and i left him behind. rip roboraptor. im sorry
