Elite Dangerous: Where Every Break is Just a Hyperjump Home

Elite Dangerous is my spacefaring comfort game. No matter how long my breaks are, be it months or years, I always find myself drifting back into the void, ready to tackle its endless opportunities.

Yes, the learning curve is steep enough to make a mountain goat sweat, but that’s part of the charm! Frontier has been steadily making things more approachable over the years, guiding you toward your chosen path, whether it's trading, bounty hunting, exploration, or just sightseeing in a ridiculously expensive spaceship.

The pre-built ships are a fantastic addition if you’re short on time (or patience). They’re like those pre-assembled IKEA chairs and they just work. You can get a taste of what the ships are capable of without breaking your in-game bank account.

Since 2018, I’ve dabbled in nearly every aspect of the game, from mapping uncharted systems to chasing bounties like a space cowboy. And you know what? I never get bored. Elite lets me shift my playstyle whenever I feel like it, keeping things fresh no matter my mood.

At its core, Elite Dangerous is about living your best space-life, whether that's as a daring explorer, a cunning trader, or a pilot who just loves ramming into things during docking (we've all been there). The possibilities and hours of enjoyment are as endless as the galaxy itself.

TL;DR: Elite Dangerous is the game I can’t quit, no matter how far I wander. Worth every space credit.

As a big fan of the original series, this remastered version brings the nostalgia back in all the right ways! You can play between classic graphics or remastered and the controls are super easy to set up and play with. It really makes me happy that there is finally a version of these games that doesn't require a long process to go through in order to play. Beautifully done while respecting the original format.

Helldivers 2 has been some of the most fun I've had in a co-op game in a long time.

More importantly, the devs truly show how much they care for their product and it's community with consistent communication and attempting to make things right.

I hope this game continues to flourish well into the future!

FOR DEMOCRACY!

I originally played Fallout 76 on launch and sunk a bunch of hours into it. Stepped away because I felt content was lacking originally and there wasn't enough to keep me coming back. They've since made some huge improvements to this game with plenty of quests and activities making everything feel more worth while and engaging. Jumped back into Fallout 76 recently due to the TV show and I am so very glad I did.

You can play this game solo or as a group and neither situations hinder the experience.

Despite the rocky launch, I continue to get 300+ hours out of this game while exploring various different play styles and new saved games that I was eager to jump right back into. If you have patience for the bugs and save often, there's not a huge hindrance to the experience that Cyberpunk 2077 has to offer.

I was hit with so much nostalgia towards older games that I played as a kid with this. A fantastic two player game that really encourages you to work together and rewards you with beautiful scenery, humorous dialogue and a sound design that continued to surprise me. Also, 10/10 marriage therapy simulator.

I've been playing this game since launch and wanted to give it a good while before I gave it a solid review due to re-playability value. Phasmophobia has great potential if they keep up with updates and add some variation (maps, different ghost designs, paranormal activities etc) and the team work that comes with playing this game is great! I'm about to hit lvl 100 soon and I have not become desensitized to any of the jump scares or unusual events that may occur on each mission.

Certainly a great spooky game to play with friends or even on your own if you're brave enough! ;)

I have recently returned to this game and I've been having a lot of fun either with a group of friends or occasionally running around with randoms. The leveling up and progress system is very new player friendly and not to difficult to follow once you get stuck in after a couple of matches. Great selection of monsters and survivors to choose from which add a lot of variation alongside others play style.
