This game is a fantastic entry into the resident evil series, and its got compotent controls too!
(i tried to get into older RE games but the controls stopped me from enjoying it)

As of writing this review, ive only completed the main game once. I will go back and play through on other difficultys for collectibles, etc
This game has me hooked. if you enjoy survival/horror with a good smattering of puzzles, this is right up your alley.
I will say though, i do hope the next RE game has 1st person view in it.

This game has more ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ flavor in it than a Guy Fieri recipie

so far this game is my 2017 GOTY. It oozes chram and flavor, the combat is fluid, and there are so many routes to explore and tackle a level. The world of Talos 1 that arkane studios has built for us is a very rare treat, a perfect mix of atmosphere and storytelling, while aslo allowing the player to explore it at their own pace. the combat is tense and tight, forcing you to monitor resources, but it doesnt feel like it weighs you down. the enemy variety is awesome, and the way the mimics move in game is incredibly fluid.
i cannot do it justice in a review. if i had to say why this game stands out head and shoulders over other competitors of this genre, it has to go to the zero gravity combat.everything has impact, and anything is a weapon. from enviormental kills, to stealth, to guns out, any combat tactic or combonation of tactics are viable.

I have not had as much fun messing around in space in a long time, and PREY deserves your playtime too.

Don't Drop the game because the pacing at the start is slow. it is, but bear with it, theres so much charm and content underneath that. this game starts off slow, but once it hits its stride, it takes your breath away. Team cherry have masterfully created a world thats easy to immerse yourself in, and keep you wanting more.
This game has some of the tightest feeling controls ive ever had in a game. every time i died or messed up i felt like it was my fault and my fault only.
seriously if you like metroidvanias, play this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.

Campaign is fun for a call of duty game, after ghosts and AW they've certainly gotten their groove back. game feels great to play and the parkour system feels smooth and works like a charm once you familiarize yourself with the controls.
i got to play the campaign on my roomates XBONE, but i played multiplayer on my pc.

other than that i played the multiplayer, its just good fun. all sorts of builds and combos are viable, feels more like an arena shooter with bits of call of duty here and there.
you can absolutely ruin kids in this game with a fast click macro and the dual pistols.
10/10 would play tdm on objective based modes.
havent had this much fun playing a multiplayer fps since pre patch akimbo shotguns in MW.
if you like a fast paced arena shooter with a focus on weapon variety, and a fun parkour system, this is your game
just buy the multiplayer pack if you feel like dipping your toes though, since you can upgrade to the full game if you enjoy the multiplayer enough. something i wish more AAA games would do.
