I have recently had what I like to call a "game-drought" so when my friend recommended this game, I bought it with no hesitation. I had no expectations nor any idea what the game was about. I spawned in a world with my friends in the middle of the night…

I guess my old Minecraft instincts kicked in and the first thing me and my friend did was chopping wood. This game instantly swept me of my feet, for ten hours I played non-stop and not for a second did I feel bored. I think I am not even halfway through completing it. One of the most exciting experiences for me is that I truly have no idea of what is to come.
Now on the topic of graphics, no, this game does not have “good” graphics with hyper realistic mechanics. However, it is not fair to compare the quality of graphics between, for example Minecraft, and other games. Anyway, the game is so fluent and once you get used to it, it is absolutely stunning. I am not sure if I’ve ever seen anything quite like the beautiful scenery and environment of this game. It is just something entirely new and different.

And the music… I have played with music since the beginning and it has added some excitement and involvement to the game. It was not until me and my friends boarded a small boat to conquer some land that I started to really appreciate the music. We all sat quiet in Discord while sailing in unknown waters, with no idea of what is to come, when we heard it. The Ocean music. This music piece was so good that it could have been the intro song of the tv-series Band of Brothers.

I really, really do recommend this game to everyone. And I recommend you do try to not look up things on Google or YouTube because what brought me much of the joy and sheer excitement was the exploring and adventuring part. I’ve spent all my hours on a server with a few friends and I recommend you also play with some if possible. It just adds to the experience. Note that in no way do I think the playthrough would be flawed if played solo.

I am almost certain this game is not long-term with hundreds upon hundreds of hours of content. But for the amount of joy and nice moments this game has already given me, I would say it is a must for everyone who wants to play something new and thrilling.
Easy 10/10 so far.
