Garry's Mod is a physics sandbox game, and unlike regular games, this game does not have any predefined aims or goals, you are simply cast into either singleplayer into a map of your choosing to have fun and do as you please, or multiplayer, where a host of content creators and developers have created entire communities based off of many popular gamemodes such as DarkRP or Trouble in Terrorist Town.

Lets start off with the gameplay, in Garry's Mod you can construct anything you want, you can manipulate rag dolls which are player models that can be from all different games, such as Team Fortress 2, you can create cars, weapons, maps, gamemodes, the possibilites of this game are endless, if you want it to be, then it shall.

Props and ragdolls can be ported into Garry's Mod from any Source engine game or from the community workshop (Civil Protection models from the Half Life series and more!). You are started off with a Physics Gun, a gun that allows you to pick up, rotate, throw etc, anything within the game that is spawnable. You are also given a Gravity Gun which you can to also pick up and throw objects. You are given a toolgun with access to a variety of tools which can be found in the Q menu.

There are thousands upon thousands of player created content, many popular editions include "WireMod" which can be used to create even more complicated contraptions and opens up more ways to create things then ever, or the popular gamemode "DarkRP" which allows you to roleplay as whatever job you please, earning money, buying weapons and raiding peoples bases for there loot. Its pretty much a modern day pirate simulator.

Lastly lets look at the pricing compared to how much you will get out of this game. Garry's Mod is $10. I have over 3k hours in this game and there are people who have well beyond what I have. That shows that you can get an almost limitless amount of entertainment from this game. The possibilites are endless, you won't regret buying this game.

EDIT: I now have over 4k hours and still have the same amount of fun.
