DOOM Eternal: Is it good? Yes. The gameplay alone is worth the price. It took everything that DOOM 2016 did and did it better, hands down. However, I have to say that I'm disappointed in the story, exploration, and atmosphere in comparison to DOOM 2016.

I didn't have to explore to find the collectibles because you can see where they are on the minimap.

The weapon upgrades felt like they were much less valuable. I could upgrade my weapons with all attachments with fairly little effort.

The story and atmosphere felt much less tense because instead of stopping an impending invasion on a desolate, creepy planet, I merely had to track down and kill some priests. I didn't feel the same sense of urgency and desperation that I felt while playing through DOOM 2016.

Still, the gameplay made me feel like a god. Playing this game is a great way to vent frustration. The gameplay will test the most seasoned gamers, especially on harder difficulties. You will always be on your toes.

Overall, a solid 7.7 out of 10. Rip and tear.
