This remaster is a definitive downgrade from the original. The only aspects that improved were ease of access to modern settings for FOV and high refresh rate.

There was only like 7 levels but I'd probably buy another 40 for like $5, maybe $8. Also fanmade hentai is a totally viable marketing strategy.

So, I haven't gotten close to far enough to understand builds or later skills, but I only feel like that is at the fault of the game. In my first 5 hours I had felt like a useless class, (pyro wizard lady) and I don't know how to resolve this other than grinding and getting lucky to find the right staff type.

Okay that's annoying yeah, but grind on?

Well, I would if I enjoyed playing through a 20-30 minute mission without recieving any drops until the end. Even the randomly occuring boss drops nothing. Sure, there is a bit of suspense in waiting for the box you get at the end, but the flow of the game is awful in this sense. Why be excited for 1 minute at the end when you could be excited coming around any corner, in hopes that a mob could give you a world drop?

Lame.

Also, Archer is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ overpowered, my guess is that they will bring the other classes' early game up to speed with her.

This game was the most fun that I had had in the last year, that is if you discount the hours of time I burned on Realm of The Mad God. It has everything for the people who like rogue-likes, and amazing synergies and strategy. It is also a nice mix of action, and requires some coordination, which I like. It is an all around balanced game and I would recommend it to anyone over the age of 3. It is also not as apparently anti-christian as the original Binding of Isaac, so don't hesitate to buy this for all your church going friends, they shouldn't care.
