It is unacceptable that you have to edit your HOSTS file to make this game work without massive framerate hitching. At least it doesn't have the Ubisoft DRM, yikes.

VRMark works great when running in Proton on Linux. Didn't say it would work on Linux, but it does! It has a great varied set of benchmarks for a variety of hardware configurations, that will be a good test suite for now, and for years to come, across various computers new and (a little) old.

PCMark 10 doesn't work when running in Proton on Linux. Didn't say it would, but just so you know.

The one program on Steam that actually does this properly. I use it whenever I am unfortunate enough to have to use the Windows operating system.

I don't actually play this game, but I'm using its Proton wineprefix and game data folder to launch the Epic Games Launcher/Store on my computer running Linux, using some cool script I wrote. Means that I never have to leave the comfort of Steam and Proton.

This software only ever shows me the first page of each book, usually the front cover, rendering the program unusable for the purpose of reading comics, eBooks, PDF's, etc. I can't manage to fix this regardless of which format I put in. It's not a problem with the particular eBooks or PDFs I tested, because they work elsewhere, it's the program.

Some book text gets clipped or alternatively gets cut off by the edge of the window, rendering the program unusable because it doesn't display all of the words without them being cut off/not rendered. There are no options to adjust the text in any way so I can't try to fix this. It's not a problem with the particular eBooks or PDFs I tested, it's the program.

The game doesn't show anything but a black screen for me, on Linux using Proton- so it's completely entirely unplayable.
