Its ok

Its mostly an improvement to first surge.

It has beans, it has colors, and it has guns. What's not to love?

Its a fun time waster but not very deep. Good for having something to do while watching a pod cast

If you want to pick this up I recomend you join a clan, so you don't have to pray that your squad can work together in public games.

An excellent battle simulator, where tactics and group behaviour is so much more important than the individuals skills.
Best if you get into a good community for online jolly cooperation.

There is a surprising amount of content to find in your travels, while most will be "boring" upgrades for your rover you will also find plenty of more "spicy" content to keep you on your toes.

If you are looking for online gameplay then you might be dissapointed, it used to be great. But now we have jet powered bikes that can take to the air and has instant lock-on missiles. Hackers run wild and the only thing they really do against them is to remove the money they hack in, don't want anything threatening the sale of shark cards after all.

So as it is now, great with friends. Not so much in public, and dont even get me started on the grinding to get the usefull stuff.

While it lacks much of the final versions content it still shows that a lot of quality in it's core mechanics. A little unstable but runs quite well.

This game is about as awesome as a third person shoter with destructable enviroment gets.
This is what happened to me once:
I was standing ontop of a solar power plant(high tower) and beat the support beams of the top off, they fell down and hit the bottom of the tower. This made it highly unstable and it woobled forward and backwards, effectively becoming a game of balance.
Soo much can go wrong here, but no matter what happens. There will ALWAYS be a chance to correct it...... it will most likely include; driving through a building, driving OVER a building, smash a building with another building or crushing enemies with a building.
In short: Try the damn game
