Overall I liked the game.
I did most of the campaign in coop, quests and unlocking progress does not carry over, so we were forced a bit to play the campaign twice.
There is a lot of unintuitive controls, but might be because we used mouse and keyboard.
Some quests do seem to need a rework, because you practically need to "cheat" to complete them, it is mainly these few side missions that made me give a negative review, they are technically something you do not have to do.

Entered the game expecting a western style game on a horse similar to Cyberpunk 2077 and GTA, which was how the game was presented to me, and I think that was a mistake.

Bad:
Weapons return to horse/stash, on mission interaction.

Saving and reload, does not take you back to the point of saving (any “events” might be lost, environment is changed etc. seems like a new instance of the world).

Any “game” stored on the horse on mission interaction might disappear.

The game is slow paced (comparing to cyberpunk and GTA).

The story is mandatory, and no skip (granted it is tagged story rich).

Tutorial (first stage? last roughly 2 hours, making refund inaccessible, when you actually try the “real” gameplay).

Auto save works very weird, as it asks you in each session, if you want to turn it on.

The menu is a bit fancy made, I do not understand why I have to look for and learn how to find save game/load game.

In between:
Missions are ment to be repeated (you will not get gold medal in first try).

The controls do require learning, even if you have tried similar games.

Good:
The story does seem deep.

There is plenty of things to do and collect, which is what I want from such a game.

Overall I was way to dissapointed with it, as it did not live up to my expectations, so I recommend people checking an extra time before investing in the game.

Early Access Review
With about 100 hours into the game, chilling through tier 13-14 maps, I feel like it was about time to add a review.
Previously I have enjoyed over 1000 hours in POE 1, and played all diablo games, last epoch, warhammer inquisitor etc.

The game is still in early access and it can be felt, there is some aspects of the game that I believe needs to change, and they probably will before the release.
The largest issue, which I find is the same as POE 1 is stability, disconnections and crashes are far too frequent, and while it is early access, I find it unacceptable, if it is only as stabel as POE 1, I find myself crashing roughly once per hour, and in POE 1 it was not much different either.

I like their gem system, while it could do with fine tuning, I have not seen it anywhere else, so for me that is probably also the only "unique" thing about POE 2, compared to other games.
The adoption of WASD is also done very well, you do not find it often in these games, and I think I would have found it harder, if I had not played it in warhammer inquisitor.

What I like most about the game is probably the feel of progression, especially in campaign, playing with a friend we reached the very hard bosses in the acts, we died and we overcome the challenge, I would say I prefer coop over single player in this aspect, as it becomes quite a bit harder when you solo it.
And then the dophamine hit with drops of course (loot filter required), I do not think I can remember any game since diablo 2, which can give that boost (exccluding poe 1).

Looking forward to a lot of fine tuning, and the rest of the acts, classes and ascendencies.

Edit: There is quite a few bugs, and a lot of aspect that is currently not "casual friendly", so I suggest waiting if you do not want a flawed experince.

Felt it was a bit short, various opinions on this, however you pretty much unlock all areas from the start, as you can sail from the get go. Where the two previous it took a long time to unlock water walking and also the ability to move fast.
I feel like the all 3 games are distingtive in how you play, and how the combat feels, even through the concept is largely the same.
There were no cave with level 200 bosses, like the previous, which I felt was lacking, however they added an endless tower mode instead, to challenge you.
Looking forward to the continuation of the game in Cat Quest 4.

I contains a lot of small puzzles, jumping and others, if that is not what you are looking for, then you might not like it.

The only really bad things I found was:
Some quests do not progress when you do as requested, which I assume is because of bad wording, or something that might have added later without updating the quests.
Flying has the usually bad controll of inverting the direction of your control whenever you look away.
There is no steam achievement.

While complex, the pinacle experience of an ARPG.

Loved the open world exploration, with the jet pack you could get everywhere.
A lot of collectables to find.
A beutiful world and a fine story.

The only minus I found was a few times you could not interact with some items, a save and reload fixed these.

Early Access Review
Enjoyed the game for many iterations, both alpha and beta versions and finally after the full release.
Great coop game, which my friends and I keep coming back to.

While I like the concept of the game, and I enjoy playing with my friend, there is simply too many bugs to recommend it.
Coop has a lot of crashes, roughly around every mission completion (and sometimes just when completing mission objectives).
We had a lot of trouble connecting to the host's game when the game started.
We also noticed a few bugs with the interface and settings not working as intended.
Some quests simply refusing to register progress (seems it required me to solo or be host, and for the map level to be at my or higher level at the end of the mission, not enough it was at the start).
Campaign missions going out of sync with coop player, requiring relogging.
Noticed a lot of rubberbanding for the joining player.
The minimap can be a tad too small.

Aside from all the stability, it actually seem like a fine game compared to other ARPG games like diablo and last epoch.
Just sad that it seems to be near unplayable outside of single player.

So when the the bugs are fixed, I would recommend it.

Edit: They should have fixed the crashes at the end of missions, however since we have as big of a challenge just joining the host when we start a mission, I cannot test if it really is fixed.
