i played this mostly on an afternoon when I didnt have any internet and it was so fun and nice to experience the joy and wonder that is this game in pretty much one sitting. the gameplay is admittedly not very deep but the excellent narrative, interesting characters, gorgeous views, stunning visuals and electric soundtrack more than make up for it

Some people might call this blasphemy, but this is the best game of the series.

Remember Reach

I've been playing since Destiny 1, so I might be biased. But the gunplay is always on point, the PvE is great, the lore is amazing and vast, Cayde's there, PvP has it's moments, it's been great and it's been bad at different points, the raids are fun as hell and very challenging.
I've heard starting as a new light player now can be pretty tough and confusing, and I can't really say anything about that as I've had all 2 years of content prior to shadowkeep delivered at a steady pace and not all at once. So I recommend finding a friend who's played it a bunch to help you sort through the mess (If you have none feel free to reach out to me!)
