I'm so proud of this community, rising against malpractices and actually making big corpo Sony withdraw.

Helldivers 2 is a great game, peak pve/coop experience, tight gameplay, great atmosphere and visuals. It's a must have and it's free of the awful things that infest most live service game, I hope things will stay that way.
[update] it's even better now since most of the weapons and stratagems are balanced and fun to use now.

I'm really looking forward to next additions; new factions, more vehicules, statagemes, planets... This game is glorious. Congrats' to Arrowhead for their transparency and the great game they built.

Amidst a sea of souless, uninspired and boring earlyacesssurvivalcrafting games, Pacific Drive is a reminder that survival games can be thrilling and truely enjoyable if done right. With a huge focus on immersion and atmosphere, this is the kind of game that will make you want to explore more and more while fearing your surroundings.

If you enjoyed The Forest, Subnautica and if you're craving for a decent Stalkerish vibe, I heavily recommend this game.

It's a great game, really fun with friends. It kept many good aspects and mechanics from the first game and improved them greatly.

I honestly don't get the mixed reviews, the game is a fun mix of twin stick shooter and tower defense.
It's not extremely deep and suffer from a slight lack of variety ( for now ) but the gameplay loop is really pleasant.
Each runs I played through was enjoyable, there's a fair amount of content and things to unlock including upgrades, heroes, lore which motivate the player to try different routes and playstyle. The heroes are overall well designed with different abilities and passives and managing your ressources during a run is fun ; focusing on your heroes, your turrets, your gear, deciding if opening another door is worth it or not...
One thing that is a bit annoying is the fact that's is easier to play solo with 2 bots instead of playing with a friend because you won't able to bring a bot with you and will have one less hero to do your run. I recommend to play the game with two friends to have a full team.

I encountered two game breaking bugs and had to force end my runs sadly, hope the devs will fix those issues asap.

For the price it's really fun roguelite.

With "only" 34 hours in at the moment, consider this an early review. I might update it after sinking many more hours into this game.

Starfield is a massive game that feels familiar, if you played some other BGS games but also different, borrowing concepts from other games and adding some original things as well.
Being a Bethesda game, Starfield benefits from the good aspects of the BGS formula but also carried on some frustrating aspects.

So let's talk about the bad and ugly stuff first. Despite using a new iteration of the engine, the game has certains limitations that you can also find in games like Skyrim/Fallout. Everything is an instance, basically you usually get a big zone that you can freely explore but each bigger building/store/planet place will have you deal with a loading screen ( using an ssd is obviously heavily recommended.) The transitions are not smooth and seemless so the game can feel a bit tedious and less immersive before you get used to it.
You enter a city, loading time, you enter a store in said city, loading time, you get back to your ship, loading time, you get into a new system, loading time, you land on a planet loading ti-you get the point.
The dialog system is still the same as it used to be, zooming in on the npc you're talking too, sometimes cutting to another involved character, it can result in comical transitions. The Ui is functionnal but menus can be hard and confusing to navigate at first. Performance could be improved on medium/high range builds even if the game truely looks stunning most of the time.
There are many more little defaults that makes the game a bit frustrating and sometimes makes it feel that it's dated but mostly at the beginning because personnaly, the goods obliterate the bad aspects.

Starfield has so much to offer to the people that are willing to invest some of their time into it, and will greatly reward them.
Something that I adore in those kind of game is the fact that you truely feel like a new adventurer at first. You're dropped into this big universe, confused and lost, overwhelmed by the amounts of things you can do and discover. Like a person that just moved into a new big city, you can walk around and ask npc for information, use the info panels, follow the signs etc.. The game will give you some main markers and goals but the player has to seek most of the things on their own and I genuinely love that kind of thing.
Starfield will always reward you properly in different ways if you're willing to immerse yourself into its universe and play by its rules. I love how the game respect your time dialog wise, most quests and interactions are usually straight to the point and clear, and you're often always able to seek and ask for more informations and lore if you wish, without being forced to listen and endure thousand lines of boring dialogs.
Speaking of lore, the background of the game is really decent and I've been quite invested in it. I've found myself exploring museums or asking npcs about to the past to discover more which is something I rarely do in games.
I was also surprisingly invested in some of the questlines, main quests, side quests, factions quests... Some npcs are surprisingly well-written and the story-lines can contain some twists and choices that actually surprised me. Even if they're short, even the side activities offer some decent writing and always make sense, they can be funny at times too.

The combat/movement system can still feel a bit clunky compared to other games but it's a big improvement over the old bethesda games. Aside from the fixed, repeated and randomly placed content, Most of the places you can explore and visit are hand-crafted and it shows, there's so many little details and story-telling spread around. I also love how, even if the segment of a planet you land on is an instance, you can still see the other planets/moons orbiting around, see the other parts of the planet on the horizon, it's the little things man, that keeps you immersed.

I could talk about Starfield for hours honestly, and covering every aspects of the game will take too much time. It's a sci-fi action rpg that offers you many possibilities and options, some that you might find boring and tedious some that you will find entertaining, nothing is mandatory and you make your own goals and take your own paths, the game will always lets you progress. Leveling up your kills, becoming a space trucker, a merchant, a pirate, building your base, crafting your ship, focusing on a faction's story, exploring and scanning planets... There are many things to do and nothing is mandatory, play your own way.

If you're already familiar with the other bethesda games, and want a solid BGS rpg set in space, you're not gonna be disappointed. If you're new to the formula, it might take you some time before you get used to some of the signature's Bethesda dated mechanics, but it'll be extremely worth it in the end.

It's such a great game and I can't wait to put more hours into it, it's the kind of game that gets better and better the more you play and understand it, and it's really hard to put down once you're hooked
I feel like I barely scratched it's surface and I'm already extremely excited about its future. with all the mods and dlcs, there's a massive potential awaiting.

See you, space cowboy !

Don't get fooled by the game's visuals. At first glance, Battlebit can look similar to a roblox/mc fps mod but there's a lot more to it. It's the peak definition of Gameplay > Visuals.

Heavily inspired by Battlefield 3/4, the game features large scale combat where up to 254 players fight each other on huge maps. You'll quickly forget about the visuals when you get engaged in huge and chaotic firefights. The game gives you a lot of tactical options, it actually has more depth than many of the huge and most popular shooters that came out recently. Playing as a team, with your squad, using smokes, rally points, flanking the objectives... Being able to drag your teammates body to revive them is a feature I would love to see in more games. You can also just hop right in, play the game casually and have fun which is great.

Kinda similar to bf3, the movements are fluid, being able to vault, run, peak and move around smoothly is really enjoyable. The gunplay is also surprisingly solid, most of the guns pack some proper punch and with the quick TTK, it doesn't feel like you're shooting with a bb gun.
The destruction adds a lot of fun to the game too and can actually gives you a tactical advantage, blowing up walls and buildings to flush out the ennemies, making a pathway, creating a hole to peek... Fun stuff.

With a lot of maps including day and night variants ( night vision is rad), a ton of weapons and attachments to unlock. This game will offer you hours of fun for an accessible price.

The "story" is pointless, the progression overall doesn't feel really rewarding. The game is also missing quite a lot of features but heh, we got a premium shop on release day ! Using the crafting aspect (unfinished) of the game is kinda pointless until you reach max level and there are a lot of rpg mechanics that feels unbalanced and poorly designed. Don't get me started on some of the penances that forces you to play without your team...

Bad things aside, the core gameplay is so much fun and that's what matter the most honestly, slicing, dicing and shooting feels great. The atmosphere and aesthetic of the game is also fantastic, a great representation of the 40k universe. The sound design overall is really good also and Jesper did a great job with the soundtrack. It's a strong start and I hope fatshark will keep on fixing the game and expand it properly, there's so much potential.
As for now, if you're looking for a fun and satisfying coop shooter/slasher set in the 40k universe, it's honestly worth it if you know what you're getting. Don't expect proper endgame yet, or a massive amount of content.

One of the best coop game out here. Tons of content, awesome devs that deliver free updates regularly.

Also it got dwarves, beers & beards and mining, what's not to like.

A really fun, engaging and approachable tarkov-lite, it took me a few raids to get used to the movements/gunplay which seemed kinda floaty and clunky at first but ended up being surprisingly good since the game is more fast paced and dynamic than the other similar games.

The progression actually feels smooth and rewarding, I never felt like that I was done for, or unable to come back after loosing everything. Even if you're going solo, you can always do a rat run since the game gives you a free vest, luger and ammo.

Great core-concept and flow for now, the foundations are solid in my opinion and I hope the devs will keep on updating the game and build something great.

A simple yet highly addictive and enjoyable concept. Turning into an unstoppable death machine is so gratifying.
For an early-access game sold at a really low price, it has a surprisingly high amount of content ; levels, hunters, items...

Highly recommended
