Really good iteration on Quidditch rules, and a super fun game to play with friends

I have been playing since the original release, outside Steam, so I already have a few hundred hours.

Palia is one of the very few actual MMORPG "cosy games". It still lacks a bit of content as well as social gameplay (especially in the open world) and long term social features (guilds etc), but it's a very good start. The game is really fun to play, the music, visual style, lore and characters are lovely, and it already has a ton of things to customize/build your home with.
And it's free, without a single P2W mechanic (you can literally only buy cosmetics).

For now I can recommend it, knowing its huge potential and the fact that the devs are still working hard on it. If the game doesn't evolve a lot in the coming year, it might become stale, lose its awesome community, and not be worth your time.

Also, why the heck is the game's page not in Early-Access, S6 ? The game is officially still in Beta... Are you trying to get bad reviews from people expecting a finished game...?

Early Access Review
Actual exploration-based survival crafting game, with an interesting world/setting, and varied creatures. Tons of potential.
I hope the devs improve server stability as well as the combat gameplay, and add more diversity to the Realms ; it's only in Early-Access and the devs are super open-minded when listening to their players, so I'm not worried yet.

Incredible potential. Sadly it's been abandoned long ago, but still super fun with friends.

The best « coop Horror game » I have played yet, and I've tried a LOT of them (but to be fair, it's one of the very few ones -if not the only- with a dev team of more than 10 people). Super immersive, quite scary, very stressful, and even funny at times. You can even play solo if you want a more stressful experience, or join random groups with the matchmaking system.
Contrary to what some may believe before playing, it’s 100% an Outlast game in almost every aspect. And we even learn a lot about Murkoff. I’m excited to continue discovering more lore in the coming updates.

At first, Outlast Trials is quite difficult to learn, which isn’t a good thing, and that leads to players panicking and running around being chased most of the time. After a few hours you begin to gain confidence and play in a stealthier style, which is extremely satisfying. After a while though, the game can be a little bit too easy/repetitive, so I hope veteran players soon get more challenging and different content to play, like for example an infinitely repeatable Program with random Variators. Although speed-running levels is (currently) actually fun if you're into that.

The content we have now is good enough for the price, but I hope we will consistently get more and more maps and map variations (as well as more Prime Assets… plz RedBarrels we are tired of the 2 we currently have, and on top of that they both have the exact same uninteresting gameplay).
The game could use WAY more cooperative actions (like climbing together, opening doors, etc), I think this type of game is begging to have small coop stuff everywhere !

Another lacking gameplay which could be very successful is more game mode(s). Outlast Trials only has “1-4 players-designed trials”, and I think most players would love some different game modes to play endlessly (not necessarily PvP). The game needs more replayability on top of Variators, whatever form it will take.

Overall I can only recommend this game. It’s become one of my favorite online coop games, and according to the devs this is only the beginning as much more content is on the way (+ they listen to feedback), so things are looking pretty good for the future.

Overwatch "2" would be a pretty good game if it didn't have less content and features than Overwatch "1", an atrocious, worse in every single way business model, and several broken promises dating back to the release of the original game (and I've seen it all, as I began playing during the first Betas).
For now this game will remain "Overwatch 0.5" .
