A vast improvment over the original. Story, Graphics, Gameplay, and Multiplayer. Only problem is after about an hour or two of play throught my game begins to stutter horribly and requires a restart. There is a ghosting issue on cut sceans that take place outside. Not game breaking, but takes away from it. In all honesty, those two issues most likely are on my end, lets be honest. Runs like silk on all very high and ultra settings and TXAA X2. Using a EVGA GTX 980 4GB VRAM, I5 processor, and 8GB RAM.

Okay, so im gonna list my good the bad and the ugly for Fallout 4.

(Edited on 11/25/15 at around 85hrs in, 50% of the achievments, level 34, and most settlements allied to me. Not done with the story, still almost half the map to explore.)

The Good:
The mocap for NPC's and yourself is great. No more wierd 3rd person running animations. PhysX on the hair and garments. Graphics are good, not like Witcher 3 or Assassin's Creed Syndicate. But good. The engine is showing its age. The engine is the same as Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, so if you were a console command person for trouble shooting or other things, its the same get up. Such as teleporting lost companions to you or spawning in ammo ;). The lore is great. Every comp terminal is great source of goodies, as well as holo tapes. Building is great, buggy, but promising. Decent options. I used to only loot weapons, ammo, caps, and skill stuff. Now, every peice of loot has value because of this. Clocks, cans, pre war money for cloth (LOTS of pre war money). Crafting guns, is THE most rewarding part of looting. Those weapon mods. MY GOSH, do I love that. The combat is more fluid than ever and feels great, rewarding and fun most of all. Ill get back to combat in the bad. The imersiveness is there. The atmosphere and soundtrack is good. Gives me that constant eerie feeling. Always be on alert type feeling. Some people say the atmospere is super bland. But compared to New Vegas which is dominatly desert, its a nice change of pace. Some people have said its small, i would have to disagree. Further south you go, the harder it gets. But boy, is there a lot of stuff in between vault 111 in the top corner, to the bottom marshes.

The Bad:
Combat, there are more legendarys and difficult enemys. "Well, why is that bad" you ask. They are everywere. In New Vegas i liked you had one legendary and they dropped a sweet weapon. Now there comman. Its okay. RPG element has been bare boned. You can still create a decent specific build. Like tank or sneak. But, if you want any chance of making a good base, weapons, or modding that Power Armour of yours, you need to have certain traits no matter what. Like gun perk for turrets, science for power generators and lasers, Armourer and Blacksmith for your Power Suit and weapons. Followers: They have likes and dislikes. "But DustToPhoenix, isnt that just more in depth and realistic". Yes, random reader, but it too comes back to bite ones rear. If you wanna be a generious mercenary say, then certain people wont like you. Say you ask for more caps for a job. "Piper dislikes that". Now, i like Piper, her snarky quotes and generos heart are nice. Except for my bottom line. I want there follower perks they give you for max affection. Dogmeat dosnt give a ♥♥♥♥. Hes a good all arounder. What if i want a super sweet kick ass Irish woman with me. Cait dislikes the Brotherhood of Steel (Ad Victorium Brothers and Sisters :) ), Minutemen, and the Railroad. WELL THATS ALL THE FACTIONS CAIT. So it makes me feel like I picked the wrong thing because they back sass me for making my own choices. Your my friend right? Then just support me. They also give you personnel quests for there affection rating so if you piss them off, you miss out on some of that sweet lore. Now, the lore: As good as it is, It comes back to bite you. Super Mutants, when timeline wise, they shouldnt be there. Super mutants are EVERYWERE. But them being there is odd. Then there tied into a decent chunk of locations. The legendarys are more common and become more so as you level, like a very wimpy difficulty challenge, then the hard ones are like 1 per base depending on level. The hard ones are just harder. More experience though :)

The Ugly:
Dialogue. The fullly voiced aspect kinda ruined it. Now, the voice acting its self is okay. The male protaganist which i have chosen is okay. But the fact thag we went from tons of dialouge choices down to. Yes, No, Maybe/Sarcastic, Vague question/more info, Is kinda sad. Getting power armour within an hour was cool for me, but in hind sight was kinda wierd. I guess im just used to working for it. Now bear in mind i wanted a beefy tank build using that armour. But you have to always be on the look out for Fusion Cores. What i would do if you could recharge the blasted things. Tthe Deathclaw that went with the first suit took me off guard at first, then i was like "Im level 3 and am already OP enough to take on deathclaws." Okaaayyyy? Settlement populations and amount of building you can construct. Now, I can see where they were coming from. "Consoles dont have that much processing power to handle big settlements cause there not as beefy as some PC's." I had to go out and mod in bigger settlement populations and bigger settlement size. I wanted the Castle to be my own little Diamond City. But you either have to have max Charisma (10+your charisma) to even have a decent settlement.

Ill add to this whole list the more I play.

Overall its good. Nothing an expansion pack or decent mod cant fix. There are mods to make the dialouge menu more discriptive and the ones i mentioned above for settlements. But getting rid of super mutans, thats not so easy.

TLDR: Its better than 3 in some aspects (Graphics and Combat), not the New Vegas RPG experience in Boston we hoped for, but still worth the buy.

The first game in the series of Witchers. Ill be honest, was a little hard for me to get into. Not the story, which is the strongest element in this game. Once you get past the timed combat and different sword styles, its an amazing game. There are great guides to help with Alchemy and Skill trees. Helped me get past the initial confusion. Once you understand the combat and IMPORTANCE of potions. One of the best RPG's ive ever played. There are books on the series of games. I will not delve into those. If you want more lore than go right ahead! Graphics are good for a game made in 2007 6/10. Story is easily a 10/10. Even side quests are captivating. Some tedious, but the story and dialouge you get pushes you on to find out all the secrets and stories! Controls and mechs I give a 6/10. Just a little off putting but learnable. I have to include Cinematic Conversations. Amazing! Every convo you have is like a little movie you decide! Your choices MATTER in this game. They even carry over to Witcher 2 which is why you SHOULD play this game. So a 9/10. (Again 2007 game youll notice slight lip syncing issues and camera clipping).

TLDR: 8.5/10 2007 RPG with consequences, important potions (im looking at you swallow), clunky (yet learnable) combat, and AMAZING story and side quests.

The RTS that introduced me to RTS is here for WIn 7. Im willing to pay $20 for a game that looks better than before and has new servers for it. I can play this with the next generation of RTS players. Long live The Age of Empires!!!
