The game was good - Until it wasn't.
DICE has promised us to keep the game 'grounded', Which I have assumed would mean more realistic content being implemented to the game - I was hoping for DICE to re-create more of real world units / branches (or even countries) as playable skins/characters instead of the borderline airsoft skins and characters we have received instead (Not to mention the weapon skins which some of just straight up look like airsoft guns, red accents, etc), for example in my opinion the following countries and the units representing them would make a great addition to the game instead of the slop they have decided to feed us now:

Polish Skin Ideas:
Regular Infantry - High Cut Ops Core XP, A generic plate carrier, WZ. 93 Camouflage, PVS-14s.
JW GROM - High Cut SF, Comtac Vs, Multicam SUEZ Camouflage, PVS-31s.
JW Formoza - Same as above except in Multicam Tropic, PVS-31s.

German Skin ideas:
Regular Infantry wearing flecktarn / Tropentarn
KSK - Wearing Multiarn + High cuts with GPNVGs (TAN GPNVGS, BLACK ONES DONT EXIST, STOP SHOVING THEM ONTO EVERY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SKIN IT DOESNT LOOK COOL IT JUST LOOKS GAY AND REMINDS EVERYONE OF COD)

French Skin Ideas:
BME Camouflage - Infantry with Low Cuts, heavy armor..
Maybe even GIGN..

The USA:
CAG Squadrons - For some reason barely any games show the existence of CAG (Delta), Which is sad as their modern equipment is badass and varies a lot from other units in the world.. Nowadays they wear Ops-core Rail Links with FPG-21s, alongside a lot of Crye Precision/LBT/Paraclete gear...

NSWDG / Navy Seals - Their current equipment is barely different from CAG (Delta), Altough that doesn't mean you can't make something amazing out of them. For example you could make the classic AOR 1 look that they were rocking with arcteryx softshells in afghanistan (Devgru Red/Gold squadrons)

75th Rangers - Technically they added a 75th Character to the game with the latest update - But I will be dead honest, the gear they gave him is a bare minimum and sucks.

Marine Raiders - Except this time modelled accordingly - Now they wear mostly MARPAT / Coyote Brown gear, Altough that doesn't mean you can't go back in time like I suggested doing with DEVGRU (NSWDG), And giving them something more classy - Such as the M81 Crye G3s and multicam headwear and carriers / belts..

Green Berets - Wearing Vietnam Tigerstripe.

And the list could go on and on.. All this cool stuff they could've had re-made and yet they decided to go with COD-Esque ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with 0 uniformity that belongs no-where but in a trash bin..

The story sucks, the ending is disappointing, the free roam is as good as none, technically you have some customization options (the ability to change guns / color cars, and some other stupid bs) but in reality you can't ever change guns before missions, i bought a fancy pistol thinking i could use it more often, but instead the game kept giving me that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ revolver that does peashotter damage,

side note: this game is equal to london with the huge ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amount knife fights you have to go through for some reason

Amazing lore, good gameplay, tons of community made mods, and very fund gameplay, 10/10, Would recommend anyone.

Purchased saints row the third, got stuck on weird science for more than enough times, so I figured that in the remasted it would be fixed, oh boy was I wrong.

Payday2 is a good game, I liked the heists and everything, though there's a bit too much DLC's, I got the game while it was free in 2017 I think.
