Camera constantly rotates towards direction character moves. I have never had any motion sickness issue in any game, but this makes me nauseous and I have not found a way to turn it off.

Edit: For some reason at some points game stutters and I lose frames. 3080 should be fine with 4K.

Amazing game. Art, controls, humor and sound. Not that eady, but not insanely hard. Just for the Avarice soundtrack it is worth playing.

There is barely anything to do.
Mine, design ships or hunt for other players. No PvE things to do with your ships except for mining, nothing worth of explorations. Barely anything to build on the stations.

Extremely unbalanced gameplay loop. You mine and grind for dozens of hours, build a ship and either stay in safezone (asteroids do not respawn, so they are being mined out) or go out and play reverse lottery.
Space is extremely massive with not that many players. You have 99.99% chance you will not find anyone with 0.01% chance of meting anyone. If you are more PvE oriented player, or you want to mine materials for better ship, you will be probably fine... with extremely small chance of losing everything.

Ships are extremely fragile, dozens of hours of grind for a ship, that will be destroyed in literal seconds.
With this, the attacker has massive advantage as during the time before you react probably already caused massive damage to you.

Spent 200 playing without finding anyone outside safezone. Went to check the moon and tried to reach the moon belt. 10-20 km after warpgate safezone chased by 3 other players. Whole 2mil(material cost) ship (with speed of 120m/s) lost within 20s of 'combat'. 2mil ship for 20s? Definitely not balanced (just for scale, I managed to grind with that ship 1 milion in about 8 hours of playing, with previous ship it was way less)

Are you PvP oriented person or do you have bunch of other people to stick with you? Then it is probably for you. Are you casual player and/or playing solo? Then good luck with reverse lottery.

Also, staying in safezone is not an option, as asteroids do not respawn and they are being mined out pretty fast. The game favours the the players who started first, and who spend most time playing. There is only very limited amount of resources in safezone (and types are limited to only basic ores), There is nothing protecting you outside safezone except of wastness of space. And if you venture out, and someone finds you, you probably lost all you had there even before you manage to retaliate.

PS yes, I am ragequitting. I have already wasted too much time grinding for some asses to get their endorphines by throwing my 30 hours of work to trash in 20 seconds.

I have just finished the story (in about 23 hours), so I should probably review it.

The humor is so wacky it is worth playing just for the sake of it. But there are many other great things, such as the visuals of the areas. Beautiful scenes with many hidden details. Especialy with the chosen art style. All areas are unique and I have never had a feeling of repetetivness (speaking about zones, not material gathering, which is obvious to be grindy)

From game mechanic standpoint it... yes, at few occasions it got pretty tedious (mainly when you realized you need more lead paint and had to go all the way to the start) and the combat with blaster was not the strongest suit of the game (but it is similar to Death Stranding, both games are not combat focused so the combat is a bit weaker), but overall it was a really pleasant experience.

This seems to be a bit controversial topic, but I actually liked the limited tool durability and the fact, that you had to prepare yourself before exploring and had manage what resources do I need to gather to retool and gather more.

Now I wonder what would be the best approach to search for stuff I have missed such as items, references to games/films/stuff of just suit's comments on objects in world.

Just to sum it up, it was a really pleasant experience for me worth both the money and time invested.

I love this series of games. So much laugh over the years with these games. Each game is getting better and much more creative. And Charles... is still the best character ever!

Played it for a bit of time. Not bad at all.

Edit: Still a good game.
