Ahh, I think I know which post of mine you saw. On the Torchlight II game hub?
Well if you aren't an active part of the steam giveaway scene then I can understand why you might think it had the value of $30 dollars.
Unfortunately, and fortunately, there is a big difference between store price and actual value.
With Dota 2 for example, the early access is $30 but early access ekys are given away in the thousands every single day, and a $20 on the store game like The Ship, there are an endless amount of copies (Every time you redeem one copy, you get an extra for a friend and so on)
So those of us who are an active part of the giveaway communities see people attempting to exploit things that are basically free every single day.
And then some of us, like me, tend to forget that a vast majority of steam users might not be part of the giveaway scene. :)
Randy Random 4 Dec, 2012 @ 5:34am
Well, I can say I understand. I was just searching through the discussions and saw that someone did trade portal 2 for tl2. So I thought if i put up everything extra I have up. Maybe someone would have extra copy or 2 laying around who wanted to trade, so I could get me and my gf playing. yes, I did pay for my first key. I singed up for the beta but after the first month of not geting invited my bro made my buy it so i cold play with him. I saw the other key in my inventory and thought oh about time. but now I know If i were to offer that trade again not to say anything about the dota 2 invite.
Neon Nanite 4 Dec, 2012 @ 5:22am
tamerdude I assume I said something on PB about it? If it was too harsh, I apologize. I must ask though, if you did not know it was free, how did you get it? Did you actually pay $30 for it?
The reason aliot of people react as soon as someone tries selling beta and free to play keys is because we see it so often, so perhaps someone doesn't know that they are over exploited and tries to get something out of it and suddenly a bunch of people jump on him.
It's unfortunate, we unfortunately we develop a knee jerk reaction to that kind of thing. :/
Randy Random 4 Dec, 2012 @ 5:13am
Dam, you are cracking down on that dota 2 key thing. for the record no I didn't know dota 2 was free. when u look through steam it still says 30 bucks.
Palidore 30 Nov, 2012 @ 7:39am
Hey again, didn't back Malevolence unfortunately; I either wasn't on time or just didn't have much money to spare :P . Either or, I do like to check up the gaming section of Kickstarter regularly just to see what's new and interesting, for sure. Always great to see the cool stuff coming from the indie studios. :)
Neon Nanite 11 Nov, 2012 @ 5:51pm
Fly'n is out. Looks great!
Neon Nanite 1 Nov, 2012 @ 9:37am

Buying a new graphics card today which will be rather awesome.
I can find out first hand what good graphics look like in a game. :P
Neon Nanite 23 Oct, 2012 @ 8:39pm
@Gamespires, Thanks! The download is finished and the game is installing, the patch download is almost done. :D Incredibly excited about playing the full version!
Gamepires 23 Oct, 2012 @ 9:26am
Don't forget to install 1.3 patch for Gas Guzzlers!
Neon Nanite 23 Oct, 2012 @ 6:11am
But first, go to Settings , Downloads + Cloud tab, then make sure the "Enable Steam Cloud Sync" is checked. If it's not, check it and then exit steam like I said in the first comment.
Neon Nanite 23 Oct, 2012 @ 6:09am
@patanhis, Hello. :)
Click the Steam dropdown in the top left, click the Exit button, then wait until it is fully done synching the Cloud, then restart Steam. Let me know if that works. :)
patanhis 23 Oct, 2012 @ 5:29am
Can you help me? i'm tryiong to play skyrim and have been doing fine for a while. now i have a pop up that says i can't plyy till i either upload or download files . . .something about a cloud sync. . .no clue what that means (don't really care) just want to play! thanks
Neon Nanite 21 Oct, 2012 @ 6:15am
Well I generally don't call beta's being out. ;) Hehehe.
Obviously it's good now but it's going to be amazing at release. <3
MoonlightEmber 21 Oct, 2012 @ 6:09am
Nope, was just wondering because you kept saying you couldn't wait for it to be out, but it IS out. Just not the official "launch version"
Neon Nanite 20 Oct, 2012 @ 6:00pm
Wah?! I'm one of the kickstarter backers.. O.o i am confused, were you making a joke? :P
MoonlightEmber 20 Oct, 2012 @ 11:32am
Have you BOUGHT EoS yet?? XD
GroBotoad 19 Oct, 2012 @ 9:11am
Hey DarkByNight - Thanks for upvoting GroBoto on Greenlight -- and for you nice comments. Unfortunately we misunderstood, and posted before Steam launched the Software category. We just reposted there, but lost all of our votes & faves. A revote for GroBoto would be greatly appreciated -- and thanks if you already spotted the move.

The next batch of greenlights has been announced. Exciting selection this time, among others Grindea, Yogventures, Folktale, NeoTokyo among 17 others. Go and check it out on greenlight! :)
Neon Nanite 15 Oct, 2012 @ 1:25am
Well I am certainly no expert, I am just a Malevolence fan, but you can ask and I will try to answer. :) I sent you a group invite.
Allirin 15 Oct, 2012 @ 1:21am

Palidore 8 Oct, 2012 @ 3:54pm
All good! And no, no more RS for me. Leaving the memories and nostalgia alone for that one :P . That aside, my account was stolen at some point and I couldn't recover it, hah.

I play a little bit of everything these days, really. I move on from game to game quite a bit. The one I'm really excited for at the moment is Dishonored, which is unlocking on Steam tonight. Been a long time since a great new stealth IP has come out.

As for Malevolence, I actually remember taking a lot of interest in that game on Kickstarter a while back! Didn't think of checking for it on Greenlight though, so I definitely will now :)
Neon Nanite 5 Oct, 2012 @ 8:49pm
Palidore, sorry for getting back to you late. ^__^
Are you still playing that old game? Or what do you play these days?
It goes well with me, looking forward to several games coming out this year, the main one being Malevolence: Sword of Ahkranox. If you love Grimrock which it seems you do, do yourself a favor and find Malevolence on Greenlight.
The lead developer, Alex, is a really awesome guy. :)
Neon Nanite 5 Oct, 2012 @ 8:36pm
Heh I shall attempt not to be so blunt when I see a developer whose business practices piss me off and just try to keep my opinion to myself. ;)
2ndForm 5 Oct, 2012 @ 8:24pm
Fair enough man, please think about the irony and sillyness of the sitch though and take my friend request with genuine sincerity.
Neon Nanite 5 Oct, 2012 @ 8:19pm
A reiteration of an earlier post:

Did some house cleaning. Notice to all: If you have nothing but negativity and misinformation, please do not spill your bile on my comment section, I reserve this for conversation with my steam friends and traders, thank you. :)

I will discuss and explain myself, and allow you to explain yourself, just be aware that after the discussion, both of our comments will be deleted, thank you.
Palidore 28 Sep, 2012 @ 8:37pm
Whoops, didn't expect ya to reply so quickly. I'm good! Just up to my usual stuff. Gaming and hanging about the interwebs, in other words, haha.

How goes it with you?
Neon Nanite 28 Sep, 2012 @ 7:48pm
Ohh goodness, palidore. :D
That was indeed unexpected. How are you doing? :)
Palidore 28 Sep, 2012 @ 7:47pm
So I was browsing through some games on Greenlight and came across your very familiar name in some of the comments. Are you the same DBN I knew from WG? If so, hello there, and small world! If not, well, I apologize for this unexpected intrusion on your wall. :P
Neon Nanite 28 Sep, 2012 @ 8:55am
Ehm, you're welcome. :)
Just doing my part to help and inform, and I spend way too much time with games off all kinds so I feel I am well equipped to help. ;)
LwiD 28 Sep, 2012 @ 8:52am
I really apreciate your work in getting Yogventures released thx
Neon Nanite 28 Sep, 2012 @ 6:00am
Rocket Jump Wow, read that wrong. I've been looking for a game called impulse, didn't realize there was a game service called impulse which Captain Mayhem was on. ;)
Neon Nanite 27 Sep, 2012 @ 6:45pm
I just do what I can to help out Rocket. Thank you, it is appriciated! :)
Rocket Jump 27 Sep, 2012 @ 3:58pm
Hey DarkByNight. Thanks for your Troll control on our Major Mayhem Greenlight page. :) For your efforts I'll give you some download codes for the PC version on Impulse you can share with your friends next time you're online :)
SnailGamesUSA 27 Sep, 2012 @ 12:58pm
Yes and Yes. A large portion of community control will be left to our players. Meaning, if someone is running around doing bad deeds, a bounty can be placed on that player, and "wardens" can travel the world looking to take him/her down for a significant reward and reputation bonus. Eventually, if a person attacks/kidnaps too many people they receive notoriety levels. When this level gets high enough the system announces their presence whenever they enter a zone. If such a player is caught by NPC's while in a town they are thrown in Jail and receive a massive debuff. There will also be safe places to set up shop while you are offline (cities etc...)
Neon Nanite 27 Sep, 2012 @ 1:17am
SnailgamesUSA :That is brilliant.
Assuming then, that many thousands of players opt in for this and they're all logged out at the same time, will there actually be thousands of non-player controlled characters walking around performing these tasks?
And is it possible to rent some sort of protection for times like that?
SnailGamesUSA 27 Sep, 2012 @ 1:10am
Hey we saw you were wondering about the offline "character lives on" feature in our game. Basically you can choose to opt for our offline skill cultivating feature (much like you described in your post). But also, your character can perform a multitude of offline tasks when you are logged out, including setting up a merchant stand (for selling crafted/earned goods while offline, gathering activities and more. Be warned, there are risks involved with offline activity :)
freerangegames 26 Sep, 2012 @ 12:25pm
Thanks for giving FreeFall Tournament a chance and your support!
Neon Nanite 25 Sep, 2012 @ 6:43pm

If you like strategy, check out my game project: http://fb.com/gatheringofgods I am working on the tutorial, when finished I will make the beta public.
Neon Nanite 25 Sep, 2012 @ 3:36am
That's awesome. There are a few strategy games on greenlight I am also looking forward to. :)
Ulnari 25 Sep, 2012 @ 3:27am
I already rated all strategy type games here :-)
Neon Nanite 25 Sep, 2012 @ 3:17am
I see.
And you want to know what I am working on?
It will be a while before I will release information about it, and certainly a long time until it comes on greenlight.
There should be plenty of games on greenlight to keep you occupied though. :)
Ulnari 25 Sep, 2012 @ 2:00am
What are you working on? I noticed your post at Arowx' project
