An utterly brilliant masterpiece. Play it for the story alone. ARR is slow, it starts being good in heavensward and rises to greatness then to masterpiece in shadowbringers. What the hell. This is, i think, the best final fantasy story out of all i've played, and i've played a lot of them. Scratch that, this might be the best RPG story i've ever played, period.

It is very much a final fantasy game and story in MMO form. I'm not even going to get into the content. It is worth it for the story alone, as a single player game. Then it has all the MMO bit which is great and better talked about by others. The music and the story alone are a must-experience.
