Because this is one of the rare games that gets continually updated while not being filled of with predatory F2P microtransactions and battlepasses. While subscriptions aren't my favorite payment model either, I have to admit that this is one of the few cases where it's a perfect fit and the price is more than manageable.

As for the gameplay itself, this is by far the best rendition of the Stadium environment. The car handles really well, but takes a lot of time to master. Encountering a physics bug on a regular track is also not really a thing that happens anymore, unlike some of the earlier iterations.
I wish this game had more environments, but thanks to the greatly increased variety in surfaces, like ice and plastic, it isn't really a big problem.
