TAA forced on, making the game look like vomit.

Update: the gameplay loop is like Warframe (with almost identical systems, tbh), but much worse.
Also, on a different note, the character design is inconsistent between male and female, with male characters wearing armor and being "cool" and all, but female characters ALL wear skimpy clothes (and the "ultimate" versions cover even less, because less clothes = more armor amirite?).

It's just your average Korean slop, I could just call this "Korean Warframe", with all the bad things from Warframe and Korean games in general.

Now to the original review (the game itself is great):

DRG, but you're patriotic, can do stealth, very many big boom, in-depth mechanics, some bugs (haha, get it?) and suffering from success.

Good game, but I'd wait until the server issues are dealt with, the game itself is really incredible, though.

Edit: the server issues and most of the crashes/disconnects seem to be mostly sorted out, but the game still some stability issues.

You can't turn off upscaling and shader resolusion is really low, making it really hard to see things and making me dizzy.

The game looks good on the surface, but the problems start showing up more and more the more you play.
You'd think these problems would be, at the very least, acknowledged by the devs... you'd be wrong.

Pros:
- Gunplay is well done
- Prox. voip
- 254 player matches if you like absolute chaos and a massive concentration of sub 70iq individuals with 0 situational awareness in the same spot (on both sides, ofc)
- Barely any GPU processing power required

Cons:
- Awful balancing (Devs don't know why or how it's unbalanced);
- Lack of identity (It wants to be a SQUAD clone and a bf4 clone at the same time);
- Many questionable design decisions (Movement is super fast, lacks inertia and you have 100% air control, meanwhile the reload speed of weapons is unrealistically slow. Healing system is awful. Classes have no purpose besides the medic. Devs don't want to change these);
- Netcode was built with making 254 player *possible*, which means it lacks quality (Low tick-rate, no-regs left and right, people phazing through walls. The servers cannot be scaled up because, even thought the netcode sucks when it comes to individual quality, IT'S ALREADY REALLY EXPENSIVE. Devs don't see a problem with this);
- A subpar in-game moderation system and absolutely hilarious (in a bad way) moderation team for the discord (They don't think it's bad even with some of the mods themselves saying that the management is not really in a desirable state rn);
- Oki, the lead dev, is overworked and REFUSES to hire/partner with another coder to split the workload, leaving him prone to mistakes and oversights while being completely disconnected from his own damn game and community;
- Larry, the 3D modeler, is, for some reason, the head moderator that also doesn't even dip his toes in moderation issues, issues that include basically everyone complaining that mod x or y are just bad and harmful to the community. He and Oki also betrayed the Patreon backers by releasing the patreon exclusive skins (some of which are just a flat color reskin) with the "supporter pack", but now he's making exclusive streamer skins that are super dope and "goofy" (something Oki said he didn't want in the game) as a marketing strategy, the problem being that these skins are ULTRA RARE and CODE ACTIVATED, so they basically created some sort of skin black-market (they don't like mtx, btw);
- Vliaskis, the map designer, literally said he ignores constructive criticizm about his maps, he simply thinks he's better and knows what he's doing (like completely remaking a fan-favorite map and turning it into one of the most boring maps in the game).

In the end, this game has a lot of potential, but by seeing the direction the devs took right before the launch, where the game is headed right now and how disconnected they are from their own project, my hopes are almost non-existing.

This game does what it can and cannot do to make sure you will not enjoy it.

Update: Top tier is fun, you just gotta open your wallet :thumbsup:

Update 2: Well... really, you just gotta pay, no joke, this game markets itself as F2P but it's more like "Free to Try".
Well, if you like a painfully slow grind and being stuck on rank V (Post-WWII/Early cold-war transition period) then ig you can play without spending, but it won't be a great experience

My operating system, Steam and literally every single game that I play is in English and I absolutely hate having these things in my native language, but for some unknown and possibly extremely stupid reason, the publisher of this game refuses to let players change the game language to anything other than the 2 THEY DECIDED you should be able to use.

In my case, I can only choose Portuguese or Spanish even after trying to bypass the restriction by swapping the files and changing the file names.

This game is literally 5 years old and you STILL cannot choose the language you preffer, who thought this was a good idea? What if I didn't even KNOW any of the chosen languages, how would I be able to even play the game properly?

This is utterly ridiculous.

One of the few games that I have fun with.

A roguelite with different classes that play differently, and weapons that can behave differently depending on the affixes, and may also interact differently with each class.

The game is fast paced, kind of chaotic, with a nice artstyle, pretty visuals and a banging OST.

Update: the game became a LOT better now after launch with a proper ending, recommend twice.

One of the worse netcodes I've ever seen, and some game mechanics are unintuitive if not outright awfuly implemented (throwables, for example).
Progression is also not that great.

Basically, if the devs focused in making the game *feel good* to play, I'd actually like to play it, but it's just a mess with "pretty" assets.

Eu baixei esse jogo em 2019 quando um amigo me convidou pra jogar danger zone e eu n sabia como funcionava. Desinstalei dps de uma semana.

Alguns meses dps eu baixei dnv e comecei a jogar deathmatch, e curti. Nessa época meu pc e meu mouse eram ambos um monte de mierda.

Passado alguns eventos em 2019, eu upei todo meu equipamento, incluindo o mouse. Após esse upgrade eu comecei a jogar igual um MONSTRO, mas isso foi no Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019 (1º lugar disparado em 90% das partidas, já até joguei contra e me juntei à 1 clã onde eu era considerado "1 dos melhores" e nunca podia ficar no mesmo time q 1 outro kra pq se não a gente dominava 100% sem chance lmao).

Dps de um tempo eu decidi baixar o game dnv e treinei um bocado em mapas de treino até eu me familiarizar 100% com os controles. Nessa época eu tinha entre 60-100 horas (n me lembro), consegui prime e ajudei banir umas 20 contas. Já fui acusado algumas vezes e denunciado pakas, mas nunca fui kickado (q eu me lembre).

Após jogar por algumas semanas eu comecei a ficar em primeiro lugar consistentemente (uns 90% das partidas se eu entrasse no começo e jogasse sério sem meme) e foi aí q tudo começou a desandar.

Hj eu n posso jogar 5 partidas q eu sou kickado e fico impedido de jogar por horas, só para eu voltar e cair com uma ÚNICA pessoa que já me acusou, que vai então dizer pra todos q eu sou Cheater, o q cria um bias enorme para os outros suspeitarem e acusarem sem ao menos spectarem ou utilizar os últimos 5 neurônios deles para deduzir q o q eu faço não é improvável, muito menos impossível.

Enfim, quase n posso jogar pq eu sou kickado quase e tempo todo. Salvo alguns q são tão bons quanto eu e q sabem q o q eu faço não é nada demais, é só skill e equipamento bom.

E não, eu n jogo o modo comp "normal" pq eu detesto esse modo de jogo (e sou MUITO ruim :P).

Talvez se a Valve começar a punir esses "hackusadores" eu bote a review como positiva.
