Came out of nowhere and took the cozy game genre by storm.

A very cozy fishing game where you play as either a cat or dog (as the time of this review) and you just fish!
Purchase clothes and look your best, and you can even do some stuff that isn't fishing (like treasure hunting via metal detector, or do some musical stuff with the guitar).

Enjoyable with friends! You can also join public lobbies, most of the players are pretty welcoming.
Definitely recommend.

Let me start off by saying I have little to zero knowledge of Touhou.
Restaurant management games are fun to play and this game does that really well. Bought this game on a whim because a streamer recommended it and I can see why they played this game several hours for a day.
The characters and art are charming, the lore is interesting, and the game is fun and addictive to play.

Like what I saw from other people in the reviews, I found this game through Markiplier's video and wanted to give the game a run first before I see his experience since the game's nature is pretty intriguing. Good thing I did since I feel like it wouldn't impact me much if I was only watching Markiplier's playthrough.

Went into the test with a grain of salt, but overtime, I felt comfortable just giving my most honest answers. Some questions were pretty interesting and letting the player come up with their own circumstances on each question was clever. As for my own experience, it made me reflect a bit on myself no doubt. Especially the line of having no infinite time nor opportunities. Made me step back a bit and maybe do more of what my secret word says: appreciate.

tl;dr: Very interesting game, made me think. 10/10

So, A Hat in Time. Where do I start?

Let's start with the gameplay.

A Hat in Time has a really good handling on the 3D Platforming aspect. Great & comfortable controls and the camera doesn't go all wonky at awkward points. The mechanics of the different hats you acquire is fairly balanced and unique in each way.

Next, the story and feel of the game.

To be quite frank, the game has a fairly simple storyline. SPOILERS: Hat Kid loses her time pieces, begins her adventure to get them all back, meets new friends and enemies, and fights the final boss to acquire all the time pieces.

The game's charming dialogue partnered with it's cutesy artstyle and all the characters you meet a long Hat Kid's adventure makes the whole game wholesome, for a lack of a better term. The game doesn't take itself seriously and values the fun you get from playing the game.

Lastly, some final thoughts.

A Hat in Time is a good game to enjoy 3D Platforming and overall to have a fun experience. I'd recommend this to all the people I'd want to play with (but not all of them play platformers) and of course for the general fun experience it brings to whoever plays it.

Analogue: A Hate Story is a good game.

It was really entertaining to read different logs from different perspectives.
The art style looks great, the soundtrack is great, and the story might not be that appealing at a glance but when you read enough it does get you immersed in it, wanting to know more about what happened to the abandoned space ship and it's inhabitants.

The two main heroines are charming in their own ways and the fact that you have to "cheat" the system to get a certain ending was genius.
Overall, it is a pretty good VN.
8/10

Definitely a must-buy for players who likes playing poker with their favorite characters.
10/10 would play Poker again.

Like Don't Starve but with multiplayer 10/10 Logs.
