AI is far more aggressive in this version compared to the original.

To be clear here, I would love there to be a middle option for ratings. I can recommend this game but not in the state that its in now. The biggest issue is that the AI doesn't seem to be correctly configured, and it pretty much does the same action regardless on whatever game mode you are on.

On easy mode, the AI's are incredibly slow to the point you never see actual mid-field combat, nothing gets done and it feels boring to win the game because you just essentially killed maybe 4 units and your done.

But standard the AI is ruthless, pretty much spamming hordes at you in the first 3 minutes of the game and if you have spent the same 3 minutes setting up your barracks, your listening posts, etc, you've just got screwed over, and if you survive that, by 5 minutes into the game, the AI has already some of the best infantry you can get.

It feels unfun to be fair. it could fully be a skill issue on my end but something about it doesn't feel right, if standard is like this, god forbid what are the higher levels like?

Its somewhat disappointing too, you wanna recreate those GIANT battle scenes from the trailers, but the AI spends very little time getting objectives, and with how take and hold works, once they get at least a few, its an automatic win. Overall I think this is a great remaster, but the AI being weirdly messed up takes away so much from it.

Another issue is that the AI, and I'm not even messing around here, gangs up on you. I've had 4-way matches pretty much turn into 3v1 where the AI barely fights eachother, but will send EVERYTHING at you.

I love this game, lets get this straight. It is the most fun out of a hero shooter I've had since TF2.
But Jesus this games PC optimisation is horrid, some maps outright freeze the entire game and have huge FPS drops.

I cant say its fully 100% in a playable state if a majority of the community is struggling to play this game

The game is still in a near unplayable state, and the developers are censoring anything negative regarding their game and performance, cant post anything on the steam board chat, the subreddit, their discord server, nothing. You cannot get help with this stuff and developers have no sort of interest in fixing the game and making optimisation for it good.

Very good, very hard. Didn't complete it though. very hard for people who like the genre though.

I think this is a cool little expansion, only really get on a sale though

Game genuninly becomes a game of just restarting and hoping for the best, one of the most annoying RNG-fests of a game

avoid guppy at all costs.
