I think I play this game out of meaningless habit at this point of its lifespan. Online is definitely still fun with friends, and a big reason why I still play this game nearly ten years after its PC release. I've managed to earn enough GTA funbucks to buy all the major businesses and sources of in-game income you can have in GTA Online. Once you do that, though, you're really just given a different, but familiar set of busy work just to maintain it all.

GTA Online is my go-to if I absolutely just need to play something at less than half the brain power. I'm sure that's of value to someone.

The hours I have on this game are not what its publisher, Microsoft, would not have wanted to see out of a player.
If laid out in front of them, on a spreadsheet or text document, they can only interpret my hours as failure on part of the game. They can only discern my enjoyment of Hi-Fi Rush by how much it could have made them money. Microsoft will never know that the short time I've had playing this game have been the some of the most memorable I've had playing anything.

Hi-Fi Rush was a game born out of creative vision, passion, and heart. It gave its players hope and excitement for what's to come next. It was a landmark title that deserved all of its accolades, delivering a wonderful experience in a fair package. Hi-Fi Rush did not expect much from its player, just that they sit down and have fun.

For that, Hi-Fi Rush and its developers, Tango Gameworks, had to die.

Couldn't even get past the "Signing In" loading screen.
Did about twenty different solutions, no dice.

Great free weekend, guys.

You could probably survive having this as the only game in your library.

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number follows up on the first Hotline Miami with unique, non-linear story-telling, multiple playable characters, different abilities, and a few more secrets to find. It is a step harder in difficulty, introducing a few new enemies with different ways to approach them. It's always fun, if not frustratingly hard, to do attempts at achieving the highest combo count in all the levels.

For myself, personally, Hotline Miami 2 would have been much shorter if it were not for the introduction of workshop support, allowing for easy access to custom-made levels. I would say that the custom content are half of this game, and the levels and campaigns fans make tend to vary from serious and challenging, to lighthearted and comedic.

Hotline Miami 2 deserves its price point, offering a new challenge to both fans of the previous game, and to players looking for something teeth-grinding to play. And if you hate yourself even more, the game gives you a Hard Mode option at the end of the main campaign. The custom content available both in the workshop and even outside of Steam can really extend replayability, as I still find myself playing through custom levels every now and then.

I've been following this game since its announcement, and I'm generally happy I decided to purchase it on release. Carrion is as bloody as it advertises itself to be, and it is tremendously satisfying to play as an amorphous blob of flesh and bone.

The controls are overall satisfying, I've even binded my controls so that I can control the monster with only a mouse and its macros. Sometimes, the monster can snag itself onto an awkward corner, but the game circumvents this anyway.

My only gripe is that the game is too short for its price. I completed the game in 5 hours, and I mean 100%, all the achievements were earned. I would wholly recommend buying Carrion when it's on sale. Hopefully, the game gains replayability by adding workshop support, because the way the game is built seems like its ripe for custom maps.

Early Access Review
AdventureQuest 3D looks like those fictional video-games you see on television. The name even strikes that same, overly-obvious feel.

I love it.
