If I had a nickel for every time a furry made a fun little game that was cheap and felt better to play than most triple A games.

Early Access Review
I think the game in it's current state is fun and enjoyable. It's a little light on content currently but I think it's got the potential to be really fun.

Some things I think could be changed that would significantly improve the game:
Tweaks to the level system.
Currently, getting new spells at level 15 and 25 is too little too late since by that point you've already done 3/4 objectives and you're already getting to the levels where you level up super slowly and you don't really get to augment or improve those last 2 spells and they pretty much just sit at level 1-5. It makes them underwhelming compared to everything else. I'd recommend making it so spells can always be found and slotted. When there's only like 5-6 spells in the game it makes sense that they're restricted so much since you'd end up finding the ones you want really quickly, but I think when more spells get added that restriction can be lifted.
Tweaks to the upgrade system.
As it stands right now, the upgrades feel kinda lackluster. Increasing your spell by 5-15% is nice and improves the spell for sure, but it doesn't feel like its doing a lot. I think just letting you see the stats on a spell would help since then you can see exactly how much an upgrade would improve your spell by. Seeing a rare or legendary upgrade feels nice as well because of the colors and how it stands out. I think just some UI and UX changes/additions would help this system FEEL better overall, even if nothing is actually changed.

All in all, I'd give it a 7/10 for now. With more content that could easily be improved and if both the problems I personally have with the game get addressed I can see it being a very solid game.

This game is 100% worth its price tag. I've never really been a huge fan of JRPGs but the music and visual style of this game is astounding. The storyline is great as well even if stories in games have never been my strong suit. I'm also quite happy that there wasn't many "DPS Checks" in this game, that I've come across, as well as that has been a big turn off for me in previous Shin Megami games when I tried to play them. Generally, DPS checks aren't something I enjoy and end up just being frustrating for me as a player since I'm not the type to "min/max" in games but it was easily overcome after a few heartbreaks like running out of time just before the end of the fight.

tl;dr Worth the money. 100% worth the money for how much content and amount of charm the game exhudes. Even more of a steal if it's on sale.

You know that study where you leave someone alone in a room with only a button that hurts them and after a while they just keep pressing the button?
Yeah, thats what this game is.
10/10
EDIT: This is my Game Of The Year for the steam awards.

The game is completely unplayable in it's current state. The cheating bots make the game atrocious in the "intended" way to play the game (12v12 Matchmaking). Enough is enough.

EDIT: They've been working on a lot of the problems recently, cheaters seem to be being banned regularly and bot hosters keep getting banned even on new alts. Let's hope this lasts and isn't a one off thing to appease the players who are still here.

So, I think it's about time I change my review for this game. It went from complete garbage, to okay, to an actually decent game. I pre-ordered the game originally when it first came out. The first impression was "Oh, it's a grindfest". Combined with the lackluster gameplay it was insanely disappointing. Then they added features(The biggest one being base-building) and it became a bit more interesting to grind since at least you had something else to put that grinding into. Then they added even more features and the game slowly became better to the point where it's almost unrecognizable from what it was on launch. Hello Games did great with this and have made a comeback.

Just get it. The game is gorgeous, it plays great, it feels great. VR and Half-Life is a perfect couple and it has me excited for more VR games from valve in the future.

Ultimately would recommend Enderal to anyone who has Skyrim(Who doesn't at this point). Sadly, it's not available for Special Edition which sucks but there are ways to convert the mod if you download it via nexus mods.
The Good
A brand new world to explore built in the creation engine.
The leveling is a bit more rewarding with the systems in place.
The voice acting and music is on par with skyrim itself. A few voice actors probably could've spent a few more hours in the studio, but that's nitpicking.
The combat is more hands-on than standard skyrim.

The Bad:
No waiting. They completely removed the ability to wait in a set location. Say you want it to be night before you attack a post. Well, you have to go to town, purchase a bed(or find one that isn't owned) then go all the way back. If there was fast travel that wouldn't be a huge issue but they removed fast travel too(Which I don't have a problem with).
No natural health regen. While I understand that this makes combat more challenging and gives a requirement for food, it ultimately feels like you're discouraged from entering combat all together because of this. Any amount of damage either needs to be quaffed away with a potion, or you need to eat food to regenerate it outside of combat.
The early game is way too difficult. You're almost actively discouraged from exploring or questing until you get enough money to actually get skills. As you progress through the game, this problems fade a bit because you're able to kill more things, take their loot, sell it, get more skills, rinse repeat. I spent the first 30 minutes running away because anything I tried to fight would nearly 2 shot me and I did only a 3rd of their health in damage. Sneaking was out of the question too because animals seem to have super vision and can see you well before you see them or hear them.(Realistically almost makes sense but makes it a bit unfun to play).

The game is definitely more challenging than skyrim and as such, more rewarding. The voice acting is well done and the music and landscape makes it a great experience. The only problems I have is the artificial difficulty increase with no health regen. Given the mechanics, its intuitive but it ultimately feels punishing when you have no way of healing during combat, especially since the only thing that can save you from Arcane fever is ambrosia, which is expensive to buy unless you craft it. Overall, it's a great mod. The biggest problems I have with it are only relevant in the early game.

It's a pretty straight-forward game. All you need to know about it is in the trailer. I recommend this game if:
You're struggling with anything and don't know how to talk about it.
Like hearing nice things or jokes periodically.
Enjoy being nice or just need some kindness given to you.
Like trying to help people and give advice or moral support.
