Yeah well it's the lack of optimization. Means similar systems can't expect similar performance :(

Hmm, doesn't seem to do anything :(

I've tried every trick in the book with this game but it just refuses to get more than 25fps with my 960

Sure! I disabled all Antialiasing options in-game, then opened the Nvidia Control Panel>Manage 3D Settings, selected the NMS executable and enabled FXAA there. It *should* then work in-game. Sometimes the 3D settings don't work properly, just as a warning. An alternative would be to use Nvidia Inspector, but I'm not sure how to do that with NMS specifically.
