Season 8, nearly 60gb in updates over the years and still no option for PvE co-op play with friends?
I'm not necessarily opposed to PvP, just figured there would be more dynamic and custom options to experience this game by now. Most players haven't completed or even attempted any of the in-game events in fear of getting ganked by Reaper's; to which some would claim is an imperative feature for the events. Sure, raiding a fully competent 4-player crew, why not punish them with a double Galleon gank for the lul's.. But 2 bro's on a Sloop just looking to share some in pirate shenanigan's and explore the content the game has to offer should not be punished by global PvP mechanics if they don't want it.

I'm sure I'll sound like a broken record compared to other negative review's on this page, but I'd say keep your PvP mechanics the way they are, just give players the option to opt out.. Consistent player count would definitely rise and many would be able to enjoy the game again in their own way.. I suppose however it's only wasted word's toward a company that's already sold their soul's to overwhelming in-game microtransactions and major contract deals with big-name titles (Pirates of the Caribbean).

So thanks for all the adventure's SoT, the good and the bad, but I fear you will never see the inside of my Library again unless the people are heard and some changes are made.
