I started playing VRChat in late 2017 - right before the knuckles invasion. Now I have almost 4.5k hours of playtime.

I never expected playing a "game" to have changed my life so much. This is now a game I play every day, just to talk with and hang out with friends and new potential friends! Virtual reality gives so much more potential in online interaction I could never have before with just Discord communities or being on social media, like Twitter. This is especially true if you dish out money all the way for full body tracking. Being able to see people move or tell how someone is feeling with their body language over the internet is pretty crazy!

I have made many friends and have been part of many different friend groups with people from around the world! I have been through the many ups and downs of relationships and interactions with people in this game, but that's a given when interacting with others. I met some of these people IRL and have had a great time hanging out with them.

Much of my time relating to this game that is not recorded on Steam has been put into creating worlds (10+) and avatars (200+). The VRChat SDK allows you to upload worlds and avatars for you and other people to enjoy, and with the upcoming Udon system, people will be able to create so much more!
