With the power of the Source engine a remake of the original Counter-Strike, now enhanced the new game features drastically; improving visuals, sounds and game mechanics along with ye old classic maps. Everything feels the same besides that fact that they got rid of that over-powering shield that was in Condition Zero.

This eye candy, sells from its gameplay, a shooter not one for the faint hearted, which differs from most FPS such as Call of duty; controlling a fragile character who dies after a realistic number of wounds, the unique combat style of a HIP SHOOT’EM UP! Frankly, anybody coming to CS: Source afresh, hoping to pick up the multiplayer game all their friends rave about, is going to have their work just as cut out as ever as new player will have no idea why they’re missing all their shot.

Offline skirmishes with AI bots, vocals remains strong, bullet-impact sounds still seem as if they’re happening within inches of you, and rag-doll physics are to die for! :)
