From launch, to Sony ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, to Nerfdivers, to issues with the difficulty scaling, to this, Helldivers 2 has been on a massiver roller coaster ride, it's been great, it's been absolutely horrible to play, and now, it finally feels awesome again. It definitely won't be my GOTY, that belongs to Space Marine 2, but I am still so interested in this gem of a game, that I hate to see it fail, and with the recent patch it's winning again. It's fun again. From me to you, cheers. Let's keep up this kind of momentum going forward where balancing is meant to bring everything in line so that we have more viable options vs being shoehorned into one save all option, I.E. Pre-Nerf Railgun, or Autocannon. I can finally go back to being my favorite playstyle, Karl Gustav Anti-Tank boi. The standard liberator is now my favorite primary, but every single primary feels good to use and currently nothing feels lack-luster, the enemies are no longer ultra-sonic immortal instant death machines and instead are far more fair to fight against. This patch might be what saves Helldivers 2, but we will definitely have to see what future updates bring, hopefully more buffs, but the armor rework has made it so much more enjoyable to play, please keep it, it feels good.
