Early Access Review
Ever play Stardew Valley and think it was too hard? This game seems lovingly crafted by someone who adored Stardew, but felt the same way. While it has it's own challenges and characters ... there is a vibe of wanting to be truly cozy. What I loved: The ability to JUMP! Magic. Having a few spells is quite nice. Soup over the fire in the Inn. Your farm is more central to the map. What I don't love: It is still being developed and I will be waiting for each update. Legendary bug hunting. Weather icons. Time goes by too darn quick. Honestly, I have no real complaints.

I played Early Access through before any updates, and am waiting to see where the game goes! This is at 60 hours of game play.

EDIT: First MAJOR UPDATE dropped, giving mounts! It is well implemented.House upgrades are welcome, with two new rooms. No progress with the mine levels, but Ritual Chambers can be unlocked.

EDIT: Second MAJOR UPDATE dropped, and automation makes farm life much easier. The Statues that water and pet animals use a well thought out system of needing to power them. Great use of excess stone with the refinery. Our first teleportation options. Love the pet! Changing how time flows is something I did not see to well after the drop, but is very much appreciated.

I started out giving this DLC a thumbs down, but changed it at the end of writing this. Everything I hated in the original game. Starting over with nothing. Rough terrain. Deadly plants. Confusing goals. Stressful dangerous areas. Everything locked again or hacked. Storm visibility was painful. I finished it ... but .. I regret it. Nothing I loved. No new vehicles. No new gear. No new tools. No science nerdy references. The plus side? At least I am not distilling or manufacturing for the EXO request platform. Frank was interesting. The planet was vast and pretty. It was .. challenging. I went back and played for another 20 minutes after completing the storyline ... but this does not have staying value for me and does not even have a new trophy item to display at base. Too much of this was based on luck over skill or planning. If you don't find a QT-RTG .... yikes! I don't care for the scavenging without the scrapping.

A lovely explore game with driving mechanics. Great soundtrack with one solid main song by Antynomy‬, but expect dialog translations to your language to a bit stilted. Functional but bare bones menu, sound, and video options. Has key bindings, accessibility, and motion sickness reduction. Three game save slots. There is a Return to Garage in menu, and you can hold down R to return to the van. Inclusive language, references to violence, social issues, and puzzles.

I supported this game on Kickstarter, because I loved Summer in Mara. This game reuses music and characters from that game, but gave me less than two hours of gameplay. Feels like a tutorial. There were serious glitches that required at least two restarts to collect all achievements. Buggy! Pick up on clearance, because it is not worth full price.

I adore the whimsy in this game. Some real love and dedication has went into crafting this little work of art. The music, cut scenes, and characters almost live with you in this open world. There has been some glitches reported by others, but I had no such problems. Do not let the small staff working across a number of platforms discourage you from giving it a try.

First playthrough was not rushed and took me about 4 hours. I earned most of the achievements and found about half of the relics. I am disappointed. The game is short, buggy, and expensive. I had to restart from checkpoint several times when animals get stuck in tunnels. The world did not feel open; with there being no real option of path. Collectibles have no use and are mainly mushrooms. It feels like a slow tutorial, and I kept waiting for it to be over and the world open up and contain some sort of challenge. The voice acting was low quality, cut scenes were jarring, and the whole game seems unfinished and lacking polish. On par with a visual novel with walking simulator. No replay value.

The art style is lovely, and with one or two pleasant surprises, but in the end ... I regret not refunding it.

I bought this game for $1.49 just so I could buy the rainbow puke emoticon from the points shop.

I have played this game a little, and appreciate the dark humor.

Early Access Review
This game has a great atmosphere. There is a lot of potential, but it is a bare bones concept. Success will depend on the developers fully fleshing out their idea into a full game. If you like being in on the Alpha development of a game, go for it. If not, wait for a more finished product.
