First souls game, and first time really diving back in to a real game in quite some time. Genuinely one of the most enjoyable experiences I've ever had playing a game. I know it's hyped up to the point of causing nausea, but ER really is a phenomenal, beautiful, and masterfully designed game from nearly every standpoint. From what I've heard about other fromsoft games, this combat system seems to be the result of multiple previous generations of trial and error, and I can attest to it being without question the most enjoyable PvE style combat I've ever experienced in a game.

Steam's being a greedy bastard and has denied 5 of my refund requests. This game is absolutely not worth it in any way shape or form. Do NOT waste your money because valve certainly won't give it back.
