So I'm gonna be honest. I did not like this game for the first hour or so I played it. It felt janky, a bit unintuitive, and not super fun. And then I played Botan. Single most fun zoner I've ever played. I started experimenting a bit more with other characters and finding cool stuff with them. It's still janky and bit rough around the edges, but the passion is clear and it can only get better. Plus it's free. Just don't make my mistake and pick Coco as you first character.

The first game in existence where you can play as a buff ginger woman and bully a fat hamster for 5 minutes straight.

Easily the rouge-like I've played.

I'm not exactly a fan of rogue-likes, but this game is incredibly fun.
