The amount of funny accidents that can occur on this mountain never gets old.
This game is too addictive, I swear. I can't stop spinning dude.
Surmount is truly one of the greatest indie hits of recent times. It just hits all the right vibes with its calming art and music.

It can be a bit hard in the beginning to get the hang of the different climbing techniques you can utilize. But once you get it, there's nothing to stop you from reaching the top. Game good.

I was so exited to play this, and really gave it a try. But it gets boring real fast. Horrible UI and UX design. Melee deals 1/100th of enemy health and is completely useless (no matter the weapon). Cant skip dialog. Repetitive missions and quests. You easily fall behind if you don't do every side mission, making the balancing fell sooo off. The game just isn't fun in the long run.
If I were to recommend a similar game instead that's similar in gameplay, It's Deep Rock Galactic.

Amazing creatures.
Amazing story.
Base building is super fun!
No other game gives me the feelings I get when I play this game.

I once lost a hardcore run to a bug tho.

Just play the original instead.

The only thing better in the sequel compared to the original is base building and material gathering.

PRO TIP: If you hate all of the jukebox songs like I did. There is a way to play your own music! Put your mp3 files in this folder: C:\Users\Name\Music\Unknown Worlds\Subnautica

The ocean feels empty and dead. The only time I felt something similar to what the first game felt like was when I encountered the vent garden for the first time.
Even the depths are dissapointing.
You spend 40% of the game on land, and the snow mobile feels awful to control. It's slow, and breaks down like nothing.
Story is nothing special, doesn't even come close to the story in the original. A lot of annoying dialog.

my rocket is bigger, better, more efficient and more beautiful than Samuels rocket.
