Actually a very cool idea, surprised it hasn't been done like this before. Executed really well, pretty cheap I guess, but you're getting free workshop items too. Gives you the ability to pause it when another program is in fullscreen, in focus, etc, incase you don't think your computer can handle running two things at once.

For what it does and what it is trying to do, I'd say 10/10, I really don't see any flaws as of yet.

EDIT: WARNING, THE WORKSHOP IS NOW AT LEAST 95% ANIME. Not kidding, it's introductions to anime, still images with music in the background - it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥. You really gotta apply some specific ass filters to avoid the anime

Very interesting, very time consuming. It appears to take a minimum of 10 minutes to get clean via sauna, which to me is EXTREMELY annoying, I don't want to waste my time in the game's sauna. It has a shower. Let me use it, instead of the tap below it.

You'll begin to hate the sound of buckets spilling more than the alarm that wakes you up in the morning.
You know, like you don't spill it and think "♥♥♥♥!", you just spill it, stand still, sigh and look angrily at your keyboard, not daring to look at the mess you just made.

Fun game though, definitely reccommended as a late-night game with friends, good for mind-numbing tasks that still have funny moments with friends... especially when you both spend 20 minutes laughing at a lantern you put inside a bucket that was inside a yellow container.

I hate to give this game the downvote, but I do it for specifically one reason.
For a $100 NZD game, I see little to no people have played over 50 hours. I've payed less for Garry's Mod and am nearing 1800 hours.

While the game is a blast right off the bat, that's about the most that anyone seems to experience, and after doing it, they write the review.

For the playtime I actually got from the game, I feel I can say that to me this game was absolutely not worth the price, and was potentially overpriced just because "Hey, it's the return of DOOM! That game you guys LOVE so much!"

Super freaking fun and really intense, I've been searching for a game with this sense of humour, customisation, and this insane combat.

One issue I had was all the way at the end during the final bossfight, I paused to just rest my finger because I'd been using a manual firing weapon throughout pretty much the whole game, but no matter what I tried I couldn't un-pause it - Not upset though! Just means I get to go for another run through the game!

I like the style, but this kind of roguelike isn't for me, I prefer things like NeuroVoiders or something. Gives you loads of rare loot, but a tiny inventory, and to carry more you have to find rare pack-style things. This might be the kind of thing for you, but it's frustrating to lose entire inventories of rare equipment because you can't find a way out and the SOB kills you.

Edit: Changing my review to positive in 2025 since the game is only worth getting for zombies now. I'll leave my below rant intact because it's funny. Might be one of the last CODs where zombies was challenging.

Insane unbalances for select specialists and weapons, and unbalances are abused by the toxic community. I'm not even going to bother listing the broken specialists or weapons, just know that over 70% of players seem to use them, and if they're max prestiege, you can almost always expect them to use both an unbalanced weapon and an unbalanced specialist.
