2018 Edit 2:
This edit is essentially the same as the previous 2018 review, but I wanted to be more thoughtful.
I 100% recommend getting this game if you enjoy survival, base building, exploration, Singleplayer type games. The game development has been through hell and back and came out on top. They are currently working on the next installment of the game, "artic expansion" DLC and I am super excited for that. I have over 100 hours into this game and have completed the game numerous time, but I have yet to explore the entire "non-procedural" map. But even then, I will still continue to play!

I change my review to an AWESOME 5 out of 5. I have played this game for hours and hours and have yet to get bored. There is always something new that I have yet to have explored. The map is not procedural, but if you dont "cheat" and look stuff up and go off and explore on your own, you will not be disappointed.
I would absoultely recommend getting this game. Its not just about a survival game as much as it is a exploration game and very story driven game.!
