Bug Fables made me realize that I shouldn't rely on other people to make the things I enjoy when I could easily make them myself. Moonsprout looked at what Nintendo was doing to Paper Mario and realized that if Nintendo refused to listen to their fans, then their fans would just have to make what they wanted instead. In doing so, they created a game that is far beyond anything Paper Mario could ever hope to have done. Bug Fables is not just some Paper Mario fan's spite. It is something far beyond what it was designed to emulate. It is a message to everyone dissatisfied with their life. You have the power to make change. If nobody else will do it, then who will?

One of the best games I've played in a while. Great characters, great music, great level design, great DLC. Mods have shown what an amazing community this game has. 11/10

It's like a lucid dream. Had the most intense battle between Thanos and Buzz Lightyear.

I have well over 2000 hours in this game. I've played it for around 9 years now and genuinely loved it. I wish I could recommend this game.

Unfortunately, in the state it's in I could no longer recommend playing it to anyone. Nearly all official servers are completely infested with bots that promote scams and spam the most disgusting things possible in chat. Valve told us two years ago they would fix this mess, and all they did was throw out some more cosmetics for us to give them money. At this point, I'm beginning to find it difficult to respect them as a studio the way I used to.

I'm not sure what this review will do, if anything, but I can only hope that the community as a whole coming together to make ourselves heard will be enough for Valve to finally realize what needs to be done. I want to play this game again. I want others to be able to enjoy it for the first time, and I want to be heard.
