It's a fun novelty if you're a fan of mizuryu kei's work. The artist has licensed English translated doujins that I recommend you try before buying the game. Unfortunately, his "souma family" series that this game is loosely based on does not have an official English translation, but if you've read that series in Japanese or fan-translated, you should know this was not written by him and is a completely original work centered around a singular male protagonist. I consider this game supplementary work to the doujins, because this game does not stand on its own.

The art is nice and all the women are voice acted, but that novelty of sound and color added to these characters wears off fast. This game is mostly text and a lot of what's described is inconsistent with what you see. There are several sex scenes in this game that is either a bland background with no people or a black screen with just the narrator describing what's happening. As expected, there's no animation, but it's still awkward when the voice actress is describing something that does not match what's on the screen even when there is something illustrated. Also there are 4 "secret" sex scenes you can unlock through specific choices you make for a payoff at the end for each route but I don't think it was worth segmenting them like that.

The story and writing is stretched too thin, I know people aren't expecting complex characters and lore but this game has maybe 40 minutes of content stretched out over 5hrs. There are multiple endings, so (using fast-forward) I unlocked everything in 8hrs. A lot of it is the narrator explaining really obvious things, repeating information we already know, or being a coward about initiating sex at every single point in the story. Everyone's character and role in the story can be described in 1 sentence so there's no reason having so much downtime with characters talking about nothing. Even with passive knowledge of the doujins you already know everything about the characters and there is 0 development.

On a technical level, the game works(?) on windowed mode. Alt+tab doesn't work properly at full screen as there is no 1080p option so all your windowed apps get resized and you'll randomly tab back into the game in a lower resolution. Also, the graphic for the exit button is bugged so you have to hover and guess where the confirmation button is. On windowed it only shows the graphic if you hover over the UI. Also, there's no way to go to the main menu if you start a new game or load from a save so if you want to view the gallery or replay any sex scenes you don't have a manual save for, you'll have to get past the credits or close the game and open it again. Not a problem if you're just doing a scene replay, though

Tl;dr only buy if you're a fan of mizuryu kei. Play Windowed mode and skim through the game as fast as possible to unlock all the scene replays and play that instead.
