Dietro un gioco estremamente difficile (ma mai punitivo) e un level design giocoso e creato per mettere alla prova i vostri riflessi e la vostra precisione, si nasconde una storia molto intima ed emotiva coadiuvata da una colonna sonora splendida e ambientazioni che sfruttano la pixel art in maniera fantastica. Un capolavoro nel suo genere, ma con riserve: potrebbe essere veramente pesante per i giocatori meno pazienti. Nonostante ciò, per il prezzo a cui l'ho preso io (poco più di 4 euro), una chance la merita anche se pensate di non avere una grande dimestichezza col pad.

Un gioco di una maturità e una profondità sconcertante, sia per quanto riguarda le idee di gameplay, gli enigmi e l'esplorazione che per i temi che affronta. Consigliato? Stiamo parlando di uno dei migliori videogiochi degli ultimi 10 anni, se non lo avete ancora giocato non so cosa state aspettando

Questo gioco è come un enorme bidone nel quale sono stati buttati tutti gli asset scartati da From, li hanno girati con un gigantesco mestolo e ci hanno fatto un minestrone senza senso né parvenza di bilanciamento. Non brutto come Dark Souls 2 ma tolto lo stupore iniziale resta ben poco.

im not a Guilty Gear veteran, I played some xrd with friends and labbed it for a bit (doing tutorials and trying to replicate setups/combos I've found online).
I can say, this game feels easier to play but not simpler. Depth is still there, but condensed. If before you had three moves that would do 3 different things, now you have one move that will do all the three. For example: ground setups? No more stuff like placing the portal and shooting a projectile inside it to make it bigger, now you'll just have to shoot a big slow projectile to a knocked down opponent to setup block pressure.
I dont think this is a bad idea at all, gatekeeping newbies with ovebloated games that veterans has labbed for ages is what was killing fighting games imho.
What i dont like is that optimized combos feels not as relevant as they should be (breaking walls will do like 40% of the combo damage, making not really important what you have pressed before), some characters can just mash c.S xx special/super for like 30% health or more (sol/may, looking at you) and the game feels really unbalanced in the current state.
Core gameplay is extremely good btw and the game is really fun to play and lab despite the problems already mentioned.
Online experience is great, but the developers should take example from Tekken and add a wifi indicator before matches. Some games are nearly unplayable because of wifi players.
Lobbies are not as bad as people claim them to be, but there are a few bugs that im sure will be fixed soon enough.
If you like 2D fighting games, you should give this one a try for sure

4 super fun to play characters and a lot of stuff for the CAS mode. If you like the game, just buy it

Buy it if you are happy for season 2 and you want to support the game, if you dont care about it just buy the characters you like the most, this first creation set looks like a scam but Hilde is gorgeous.

very fun game!

it's fun, easy to grasp for beginners but technical enought to make you want to get good match after match. Only downside: it's a low budget game and you can see it by graphics and poor stages, despite character and animations looks really good, and by CaS, really rushed and without a lot of quality of life things that should be added (like mouse support). Great game for fighting game diehards and for casual too! just not at full price maybe.

Comunque sì gira molto male, ma è comunque un gioco stabile e non ha nessun problema di crash/freeze e cose simili. Se si disattiva la nebbia volumetrica e si usa la funzione che scala automaticamente la risoluzione per mantenere il framerate stabile si può giocare tranquillamente a 60 fps anche su pc di fascia medie con tutti gli altri dettagli al massimo (io ho una 970), a patto di giocare un gioco un po' sfocato (a volte un po' troppo).
