Game is Kinda basic, uses weird and not very good Anti cheat software (AntiCheatExpert) that is a kernel level anticheat, hosted and ran by tencent... Do of that what you will. The game is kinda ok for everything else, aside the gacha mechanics

Game is actually amazing, Fights feel hard where they're supposed to and feel easy when in the show they were supposed to be a wash.

I happened on this piece of art several moons ago, It was during Early Access, just a few weeks before the introduction of the second Act.
Found the contents of this piece to be delectable, the writing is solid, albeit simplistic but remains serviceable for the requirements of the story. The varied and inclusive cast of characters make you feel appreciated and is usually very agreeable, some of the female co-protagonist also pose some challenge to add some well needed conflict but usually their story gets resolved at the end of each chapter with satisfactory story beats that do depend on your choices in the story.
Especially act 1 and act 2 also present a powerful antagonist whose presence is felt and is highly impactful on the story beats that might become a powerful ally during the conclusion of Act 3 depending on your choices.

The only flaw is a lack of side stories and additional storylines, but returning to previously seen locations and interacting with old friends and allies is always very satisfying.

What else to say? I do recommend this product to anyone in need of a good … plot driven storyline.

Didn't even start playing, found some sketchy network activity after i refused to "share data" I'm very sorry as the trailers look amazing

It's an absolutely amazing piece of software. Provides instant access to many common "relaxing" sound effects along with some of the best lo fi i heard in a long, loong time.
And there's a cute collection element, too

Short-ish and sweet game, lovely to run around with the cute kitty and collect hats.

Sony couldn't break our wills.
Now back to the frontline, helldiver.

Update Escalation of Freedom update and following
The game got harder and harder with more punishing enemies and global and costant nerfs on Helldivers gear, game got almost unplayable.

Update post Patch 1.001.100 (Game rebalance)
The game got back being PURE FUN. Amazing High level missions are no longer a just run and avoid as many enemies as possible, large enemies are threats and will punish you but you can overcome them with skill and / or teamplay.

Not addicting, at all.

Sorry, i'm back... I was a little busy with a couple of wrong pipes in the 3rd expansion minibase for my perennal lack of oil... Anyway i'm back. Game's great, they announced an expansion that looks DOPE.

Really like it. In on my 3rd settlements, the first couple of them were.... Unfortunate.
A nice relaxing game with amazing graphical personality. Love it!
