One of the best arcade flight games (think Ace Combat) on the PC, fantastic graphics, surprisingly good voice acting (think anime-like), amazing music, and a great VR implementation. It's not perfect, but it's a hell of a lot of fun. The developers continue to tweak the game and have been busy fixing many issues that were present at launch.

Absolute Must Buy. Seriously, the soundtrack has no business being this good.

Great game. Not perfect at launch, but one of the best flight experimences around. Especially in VR! Easy to learn but hard to master.

Highly recommended!

EDIT: many of the issues that were present at launch (namely a bug with the framerate on high refresh rate monitors, "aviator" joystick input, and game balance/AI in multiplayer) have been fixed. The devs seem committed to keeping this game alive, despite the promise of no post-launch major content. This makes a great game even better, and I see myself coming back to this for years to come.

I really like the idea and it's a very elegant concept... but it drifts over time! After a short while (less than 10 minutes playing), it thinks I have done a half rotation in my room when I am still facing the same position. This makes it practically useless. Other apps like OpenVR Advanced Settings have a rotation counter that works very accurately with no drift, so hopefully Turnsignal can implement the same feature. So at the moment, it's a great idea but the very foundation of it appears to be bugged.

It's great that there is a "reset rotation" option, but if you're looking out into the real world just see how much you have rotated in order to reset the rotation of the program that's supposed to tell you how much you have rotated... do you really need this program?

Hopefully soon this issue is fixed because until wireless is standard, this is sorely needed.

Pros: Lots of guns, decent amount of customization, 'carrot on a stick' progression keeps you wanting to play more, and the performance is not bad (in singleplayer at least). Definitely feels like it could evolve into a fully-fleshed campaign given enough time and TLC.

Cons: AI is terrible, on both the friendly and enemy sides. Often I see some enemy soldiers stuck behind walls. Friendly AI get in the way or simply get hung up on objects, so most of the time I'm doing things alone. Performance in multiplayer co-op can get laggy at the moment.

Still recommended: this game has a lot to offer and seems to get better with every update. They listen to the community and make changes accordingly. With a bit of patience, it's definitely one of the better VR military shooters out there.

Heartwarming, funny, short run on the beach. Great to introduce newbies to VR!
