Innovative combat with a charming setting and art style along with a compelling story.

Performance is pretty solid on rec specs, gameplay is great. Personally haven't encountered any game breaking bugs.

Alright so there's a ton of ♥♥♥♥ being slung at this version of the game but I really enjoy the new progression system. It ties in really well with the exploration, which is on par with breath of the wild if not better.

The combat is pretty skill based and you can cheese when you need to.

Downwell is a great game to play in bursts or long sessions. It requires skill to get to the later levels and everytime you reach a new area the feeling is amazing. 10/10
