Great game! Be sure to try the demo if you're on the fence.

Performance is ludicrously great, even at 1k+ citizens.

It is *very* clear a lot of love was put into this game. And it's also abundantly clear the developers had a lot of fun making it - it really bleeds through into the game.

Honestly, some of the best/most charming dialogue, random commentary, and general character writing I've seen in a game.

Oh, and the actual gameplay is pretty great too.

Overall a solid game, with nice throwbacks to stuff like Star Fox 64.

Would love to see bosses have a bit more variation in their approach, though. What imo made Star Fox shine was how the bosses had different weak points, and you could take them down in different ways (e.g. shoot off limbs / weapon systems).

The bosses in this game are, by comparison, fairly repetitive after a couple of tries.

There are few first person mech games that feel as solid as MW5. And while the base game might lack a bit of depth, adding a mod such as YAML greatly expands gameplay.

Fun and challenging!

Promptly spent nearly 7 hours playing this throughout the night with a group of friends.

Superb game, and absolutely worth playing through multiple times.

Once you're done with all the challenges / unlocks, give modded a try and be blown away!

Really nice hidden gem!

Has unique concepts, is immersive, and is highly replayable.

The modern standard for co-op games.

Risk of Rain 1, with all the improvements and content from Risk of Rain 2, with some extras sprinkled on top.
