This is by far the best MK game yet because it crashes on startup and doesn't let you play it.

EDIT: Sadly it kind of works now.

Another NRS title, another let down. Even if you pardon the terrible release (3/4 of the game not working 4 hours after the official launch) this isn't shaping up to be a good game.

- Optimisation is piss poor.
- Gameplay seems just as shallow as the rest of of the 2D MK games.
- Pre-order character and other characters locked behind a paywall.
- Microtransactions which probably mean Krypt progression is artificially lengthened
- Console reports of terrible netcode

On the upside I really liked the options to turn off negative edge and input shortcuts.

Not really sure why I even thought this would be good to be honest. At least I paid less than £20 for it.

Early Access Review
EDIT: As of the latest update they seem to have fixed the issues with optimization, I easily get 60 fps at max settings on my 290x. The art style for the game world also seems to be much improved over the last version. My issues with gameplay/story/missions all persist but the fact that the dev team have addressed optimization/art style gives me hope. If they can improve the feel of the character controller and the way missions are handled then I will be happy to reccomend this.

I backed this on Kickstarter and man, am I dissapointed. I know this is still an alpha so if anything changes I'll update this review.

- Optimization is terrible, I can max out crysis at 60fps but get 34fps on low in this.
- The story is basically "US GAMERS, HUH!!!11!!1 xD xD"
- Art style and execution is REVOLTing, slapping cel shading on lazily designed assets does not make for a JSR-like art style.
- The physics/character control feels terrible, particularly the grinding and wall jumping.
- The way missions and races are handled is stupidly clunky.
- Most of the soundtrack so far is terrible, curious to hear the new Naganuma track though.

First game I actually regret backing on kickstarter; what did I expect from a bunch of canadian furries though. Hopefully it will be worth it just for the new Hideki Naganuma track.

Just play Jet Sat Radio instead and keep pestering SEGA for a JSRF HD port.

SEGA pls.

Twin Peaks the game 10/10 pretty good. Port is garbage though; so are the quick time events.
