I really wanted to love this game, but it just didn't do it for me. However I decided to give it another go after seeing it got a patch last month. Lag, all lag, couldn't actually interact with the map, unplayable mess. I'm using a 3090 and an I9 10k series so there's no reason it shouldn't run buttery smooth in the menus. Literally unplayable.

Absolutely not controller supported.

I was excited to try the game after I finally saw that controller support was added, but this isn't even "partial support" -- the game is non-playable with a controller.

Menus are not useable, you can't interact with inventory (such as looting chests). I'll give the game another try if they actually bother to add real support, but this aint it.

So very much fun with friends.

This game is an amazing little gem. It's charming, engaging, and fun.

Why are people giving the game false reviews?

I mean really, you read half the reviews on here and they sound like joke reviews.

All in all the game feels like a cheap, barely fleshed out rip off of Mariokart. It's very blatant and hugely cheese. The stat icons are not in any way explained outside of possibly a tutorial a mariokart ripoff shouldn't need, so I skipped.

The UI is a nightmare. Kart upgrades and selecting driver are done in a store section of the game, divorced from the racing section. The menus are mouse only. Even the race preview requires mouse interaction to actually start the race. The menu is completely iconified with very sparse overlay text.

I really didn't have any fun playing this. The race felt like a joke, with crazy elastic-banding of AI and player. The accompanying music such as it is was stilted and just this side of inoffensive to the ears.

The only good thing I have to say about this is that I feel I got my $0.49 value out of it. I never plan to launch it again.

I've played the original thoroughly and don't need to go into the game details.

Full screen is broken. Just broken. For me it presents as incredibly low non-playable framerates.

The game looks like someone smeared some new features on ancient models and textures, at 4k with a 1080 GTX it has that lovely mix of horrific performance mixed with block ugly textures and low poly models. This is an instant regret purchase for me.

I hope the SE fixes the game so we can have less than awful framerates (during ingame cinematics I'm sometimes getting 10 - 12 even on borderless window, which makes no sense when the models and textures are so awfully low quality).

Modders, I call on you to rework the ugliness of this game into something beautiful. (If you can crack this vbf archive)

This is a second review.

My first review was to call out the servers for being awful and disconnecting constantly; however, they fixed them.

Now that the game is running stable I could really give it a try. I'm not that far in, in it's own right it's a fun game. However, if you compare it to the original Space Run, it is certainly more grindy. However, it's fun to play, and challenging. Enjoy!

The game is an utter grindfest. The level gets really boring after a few games. The multiplayer trap system means he who geteth there first haseth, and the only way to actually get anything worth having is endless grinding or to pay. And paying is EXPENSIVE! A hero will set you back around 10$ USD. All in all I had fun for maybe half an hour and then the fun was just... over for me.

I'm unimpressed.
