Having played this game over the years, and seeing the business practices of other companies. Despite my issues with the release of Cyberpunk 2077, this game has continued to get better and better with each update. It still looks top of the line, despite it having been released originally in 2020. This game has aged like fine wine, and with the expansion pack just having come out, I can say that it is definitely not just a "DLC", but an expansion pack, as it is not a small thing, a few small missions, but in a game with each massive arc leading to an ending, this adds another 25% to the main story, and is a really good final arc to the game should you pursue the offers.

This game took a turn. I have played this game off again on again since before I even had Steam. I wish the developers didn't make the game much less profitable, and thus ruin a big chunk of what I used to do to make any currency. Player driven used to be true, but as you saw in their trailer, how many large events occurred after 2015? Not that many, not compared to years and years ago. I used to go to CCP meet ups, we would do ship giveaways, we used to play as a corporation, but then it became too expensive to operate, to keep up funding, and thus, we all drifted away from the game. Hate to say it, I loved the game for years, but I didn't leave the game, it left me.

I like the themes, the gameplay, the music, the basebuilding, the scattered lore, the boss battles, the ability to build your own army of thralls, fight against the gods themselves, and triumph. If ever there was a game to capture the brutality and uncaring nature of the gods, this is it. You may start out naked, afraid of your own shadow, but you will grow to be a force to be reckoned with, fighting serpents, dragons, ancient liches, monsters of all sizes, and even summon avatars of the gods themselves at your beck and call!

So many stories, so many tense moments, hoping your faction, your colonists, can make it, especially if you refuse to try and escape the planet with everyone, leaving many behind.

This game continues to inspire my roleplaying games, storytelling, and indeed, universe building ideas. I thoroughly enjoy the addictive movement this game offers, and its really fun to be a space ninja, of various frames and abilities. I admit that given I haven't been playing long, the fact I already have more time on it than I do in Skyrim or Fallout New Vegas speaks to how addictive and fun it is. I am looking forward to further expansions, and don't mind a slow burn at all, as I would rather get good content, than rush out mediocre content.

This game is absolutely amazing. I was supporting this game long before it ended up on steam, back when you directly downloaded it from their website and got updates via email. This game is one of my favorite world generator games, and was one of my favorites for multiplayer for years. I amazingly never wrote a review, so figured it was time to do so!

The story can sometimes leave things to be desired, but the soundtrack has never left my phone since it first was sent to us backers. I love the many mods, and the diverse climates, as well as many MANY monsters, space stations, and more! This is a very neat game, and has had a lot of quality of life improvements over time.
