Amazing for those who enjoy a in depth turn based game. Even more fun with friends the coop in this game is flawless and has lots of side things to do as you travel throughout your journey such as professions and running a tavern (with the dlc) This game does coop and its party system in a fun and interesting way and its super smooth little fun fact after starting a playthrough with a certain friend the game pauses until all the original members of the save are there and even automatically sends an invite to those people through steam :O !! Awesome stuff from an awesome game!

This game is absolutely beautiful. even running this game on low settings (I have an older PC) this game does so much with so little in terms of graphics just goes to show careful art design and shaders go a long way and to be quite honest I have not had this much fun taking screenshots of things I build or even stumble upon during my resource runs / adventures In a very long time if ever. The game is very relaxing from walking through the forest to mining In a echoey canyon I find the slow paced gameplay very relaxing theres something about slowing watching yourself and your land develop around you even the land of those around you. Seeing the buildings slowly built up more each day every morning I login and look off the cliff from my home down into the shire and see just how much has changed in those few hours its fascinating to see really.

That being said the game does have some issues and or "rough" edges some of those but not limited to: Combat (has already been acknowledged by the dev team), FPS Drops / Performance Issues at times (mostly player/ building dense areas),Crafting could use a few tweaks,Balancing and desync with mobs, The login bug / Character Selection Loop.

Combat: Feels very very bare bones the bow system is terrible and I often have to take off my cloak just to aim said bow as for some reason my cloak seems to be glued to my elbow and blocks any hope of me seeing what Im aiming at paired with the janky arrow drop and aiming circle to begin with. Melee combat is not much better there is times were my attacks full on miss due to lag or desync again the combat is very basic and extremely boring.

Performance: My PC is not the best however the posted requirements for this game are quite low although even on lower settings the biggest issue comes with massive frame drops / stuttering In dense areas or sometimes even in fairly unclaimed lands. It can become quite frustrating when building or fighting and feeling that constant stutter.

Crafting: Its ... well it is what it is I suppose I dont love it but I dont hate it either. On one hand I dislike having to craft 200 Iron spears for every new shiny mace / tool upgrade and the thing I hate the most is that all those resources go to waste and so do the items crafted so much so that Ive just started crafting weapons and tools for the people living around me and any newbies I see wondering around both to save them resources and time and also so I dont end up just throwing away my hard earned metal on the ground to despawn in the form of an armies worth of spears. That being said I think the mastery / chance to fail system makes sense. Im aware most people dislike it or call it a mobile game tactic I think most of us have become rather jaded when it comes to how we feel about certain things in our games because we as gamers have all been taken advantage of many many times in the last decade including our wallets. That being said I agree with the chance to fail system and I think a few people are over reacting a bit when seeing it in this game but what I say to that is an ask of "when have you ever tried to create/build something and got it right the first time when mastering your craft / trade in life ? However the fact that you farm up all these resources with a extremely low chance of success is a problem especially if that means the alternative takes hundreds and I mean HUNDREDS of items (In my case spears) just to craft that new item you worked so hard for.

I recommend a prototype system where if you have the resources you can craft the item pretty much guaranteed however the items durability will be reduced until you level up your crafting skill for that type of item be it a weapon or armor. Now i say this as DURABILITY ONLY (NOT damage or anything involving how the weapon works in combat outside of how long it takes to break with the idea and hope for fairness and balanced kept in mind).

Balancing: I did not play the alphas I sadly did not get in for those in time the reason I say this is because ive heard that wolves and other animals were alot weaker. Currently Im fairly mid-game and I have an easier time killing the npcs up in the ruins then I do fighting a pack of wolves or a bear. And thats both with high grade weapons and mid tier armor full chainmail and all. As a little extra I often find myself kiting wolves until my skills are off cooldown (I Shield bash then slam with my one handed mace then swap to my two handed mace and slam again just to make sure the fuzzy freaks go down) and even then I often find myself crawling out of there bleeding from every possible orifice and seeing my hp bar look like an empty glass vial. because even with my cheese tactic to the combat if i actually stand and fight or actually go to fight said enemy instead of kiting them until my skills cooldown my chainmail minds well be paper mache food buffs included.

I wont be playing or recommending the purchase of Helldivers 2 until Sony gets their head out of their ass and stops with the greedy and aggressive tactics to get more users onto their platform. Full on locking people out of being able to access the game they payed for unless they make a PSN account where in a large amount of regions it is against Sony's TOS to do so and risk being banned and locked out of the game anyways for creating said account through VPNs and other methods in restricted regions. Stop letting publishers / gaming companies get away with things like this.

We dive together or not at all!

Nintendo and all the fans bashing this game can kick rocks. Nintendo had all the funding, resources, and over a decade to make this game and still couldn't. This game is a masterpiece and anyone who says otherwise probably is to busy defending Nintendo on twitter rather then giving this game a good honest chance.

It makes me sad to write this this game was such a refreshing title to play for the first few days and the player interaction was amazing everyone was just having a blast and it felt amazing to hear the joy in everyone's voices upon charging into battle there was carefree war cries of fun and i loved it.

However following the end of the week that fun would soon fade upon the realization of the true state of the game and after the blanket of the fun times and "honeymoon" phase battlebit had was lifted a lot of issues became clear. I love this game and I am hopeful for its future and excited for about its potential.

Servers are currently overrun with cheaters both blatant and soft cheaters and very little is being done about it. The hit registration is in such a poor state (despite what the patch notes say of the "improvements" that have been made) i often see half mags phase through both heads and bodies of my targets maybe I'm just fighting Casper the war hungry ghost i guess.

Finally the balance of the game and classes seem almost maniacal from the support class being the single handed worst class in the game both in terms of weapons available to it and in terms of how little it can hold its own against the other classes.

The medic class is easily the most overpowered and could use a slight nerf from how fast you can self heal its way to fast and you often see the medic class spammed because of it.

Sniper headshots mostly mean nothing and i find it rather silly that even while battling to aim and line up a shot i have the hit detection working against including the fact that a many headshots result in a hit marker be it with a helmet or not personally i believe from a high powered rifle headshots should be one shot kill minus maybe heavy helmets such as the support (this would also add more of a reason to play support or at least give the class a bit more usefulness)

Smgs have easily got to be one of the most mindlessly overpowered things in this game and it makes absolutely no sense as to why these compact little tools of death should be beaming players from a 100+ meters away (I can almost smell the vectors in the air as i write this) between the RPM (Firerate) and the sheer lack of spread on any given SMG especially the vector make almost any other weapon defenseless against it going back to the support that is supposed to have a higher damaging weapon in exchange for higher recoil. Put a vector and a m249 with a bipod and all the spray control one could hope for within 100 meters of each other and the vector will win that fight every time. Between how fast the SMGs lays down lead based justice and how spread they have its almost impossible to beat an smg in most situations and players are currently racing to the vector finishline as fast as humanly possible.

Vehicles the amount of laser beam capability's that any given vehicle has it the thing of nightmares and currently haunts my dreams. The range and zero drop from these tin cans of pure nightmare nightmare nightmare nightmare nightmare ... fuel is just gross with the added bonus of them taking far too many rockets to kill. They beam from 100s and i mean 100s of meters away or kill you through the finest of walls upon seeing one you either hide and pray to god they forget about you or take one last swig of that flask and accept your fate. I recommend to add more drop to vehicle weapons and perhaps lower the damage of said rounds maybe just a smidge. Just to add a bit of balance between those on the ground and those in the tin can of death. I swear an almost blind man could operate one of these things and they would be telling war stories about him till the end of time.

Jokes aside i do care for this game and absolutely love it however the truth is hardly kind and this game needs some rather important improvements before i can recommend it to anyone in good conscience the first impressions are great and seem perfect at first but those impressions quickly fade upon diving deeper into the game and then the issues at hand become rather in your face. I hope this game can find itself and where it wants to go in the future of its development but for now i say hold off and watch closely.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update. Game still has every single issue it did at launch not one has been fixed or balanced the only thing that was nerfed was the vector yet they completely ignored the high velocity SMG meta that every weapon short to medium range weapon cannot beat. hit reg is still an issue even with the M200 and other late game snipers headshots still register as a hitmarker without helmets.

The crouch / lean spam glitching out the hitbox has made me want to uninstall this game more times then i can count. This game feels like a sweaty COD lobby with roblox graphics now and the fun element has been completely wiped from this game. No one VOIPs anymore and its just a silent sweat fest with horrible features put in place that allow said sweats that enjoy pressing 100 keys a second to optimize their maximum douchery dodge mechanics making close range battles painfully unfun to play.

Cheaters seem to be all over the place now sadly i was hopeful when we saw that huge ban wave at launch week and now we have what feels like an abandoned game from a dev team that struck gold and got lucky and now has lost all motivation or has contracted brain worms
resulting in some of the worst updates i think ive ever seen for an fps title further sinking their game into the abyss rapidly speeding the games death and its honestly sad.

If you are looking for fun and funny moments they are no longer here all thats left is cheaters , hitbox abusers, sweats, horrible maps, terrible hitreg, even worse gun balancing, and a shell of what this game used to be and could of been.

Also the content has dried up they set new weapons at extremely large level gaps to it feels like you are using the same gun for a decade until you finally unlock something new :/.
